The beds were OK, unexpectedly not bunk beds. Location is fine to access via bus, until night time or Sunday. Lockers are nice and big. But, it's like they've stopped caring about the place. Bathroom was mouldy, shower sprayed water everywhere, toilets were dirty. Sheets had holes in them. Breakfast was stale. Wifi connected fine (perfect connection), but the internet wasn't worth even trying to use. No atmosphere at all.

This is the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. Firstly, they should take down 'free wifi' as included in the price. The wifi rarely, if ever works there. Some of the staff were incredibly rude if you asked them a simple question. It's also miles from the city centre. Definitely not worth the money.

Unfriendly staff, dirty bathrooms, location is in the middle of nowhere but really cheap.

This hostel is kind of these old style hostels with minimum comfort. It may be good for a group which wants to strengthen its bounds through group activities but for a backpacker it does not have the right atmosphere. The connection to the town centre is not so good, esp. on sundays.

It was very helpful to be provided with a bus schedule to and from hostel - city centre. Also one could buy ready made meals and drinks from a vending machine which is handy. B'fast was included. No bunks beds which was a nice surprise. Could do with more sockets in room to charge mobiles etc.. Also large lockers provided which was brilliant, Curtains would have been nice instead of shutter alone during daytime. Quite area. Decathlon outlet close by which was super. One bus away from centre.

Well, it is far from the city center, but not so remote... There is no shops or restaurants nearby, so it will be a problem if you want to buy something or find something to eat. The last bus to the hostel from the city is about 8:00 pm, so you have to be back before it. However, if you are only looking for someplace to sleep, it is not bad.

Good value for the money. Helpful, polite staff. Hostel is clean and well run. To my knowledge only hostel in bologna. Location could be better. About 6 km from the city center, but you can get there relatively easy by bus.

One of the worst hostels i have ever lived. Location is middle of nowhere. Bus took 20mins or more to centre and very few buses. Be careful when u are bathing, lights go off from time to time. No wifi and plugs btw. Bascially u can juz slp, nth more.

This hostel is a E15 can ride out of Bologna and the bus goes only once an hour. It is very secluded and I'm not sure why it was built so far out. Not convenient for a quick stay. Clean otherwise and not unpleasant but would not reccommend.

Nice tidy place, easy going staff. Not idealy located, little on the expensive side of hostels in Italy.. But overall a fine place to stay

Upon my arrival in Bologna I had to take a bus for around 20min to get to the Hostel. When I arrived I was shocked to see that the Hostel is off of a highway and in the middle of a very residential part of town (no restaurants around other than the one at the Hostel). Granted, I went in the off season so there weren't many people around, but I got a not so friendly vibe from some of the guests. The staff is very friendly and helpful and called me a taxi when I needed to leave.

We (2 people) stayed here for 2 nights in early January 2013. The hostel is isolated so it is quiet. The room was spacious, clean, and warm. Staff was friendly enough. Wifi did not work. Warning about the facilities: Only 2 showers and 2 toilets to plan accordingly. Common areas were not very inviting but the real problem was the staff did not enforce the no-smoking rule so the hallways and bathrooms smelled of smoke. Buffet breakfast in-line with hostel price range.

Once you understood the bus plan, this hostel is good for a visit in Bologna.
