very convenient and cheap, with all facilities: kitchen, computer, wifi, fridge, dining hall, shower... but living in a dorm is pretty noisy. A couple in my room talked till 3 am and made out like nobody was in there. Unbelievable. But if you share it with your friends or anble to book a private room, it will be great.

for start the best was the welcome! the staff was very helpful, nice, friendly and THEY gave us all informations we needed with no obligation to that!!!! thank you!! beautiful and big private room! after we made check out they still allowed us to leave our bags during all day for free!:) Nice temperature ( we went now in winter and we had no cold at all!). Spectacular place to stay really near to firenze center ( you can go by walk:).

how not to mention Ida and Giuliano? they bring joy to this curious old building once a monastery or something like that, and put this hostel into the Very Friendly category, when the positive aspects are so much more attractive than the other ones. I would certainly go back there, also to visit these new friends of mine.

I was a little taken back by not having a lockable door n the shower and just a curtain! Other than this the facilities were really good. There are two stoves in the kitchen a very large social space for people to eat/use the internet and also 2 computers for guests use. The hostel was clean and the staff were always happy to help out!

This is an old hostel that has not updated its facilities at all. I stayed there 7 years ago and again a month ago. All is the same. The hallways are busy and noisy. The bathrooms are OK, but not that great. The kitchen is fine and nice because you can save a couple of bucks by cooking there. A lot of people do. Overall, I do not recommend this place.

Quite easy to find the hostel if taking the bus. Only problem with this hostel was the after 2am Lockout. The room was clean and bathrooms were across the hallway.

The wifi didn't work the whole time I was there, 3 days and there were only 2 computers available for everyone so there wasn't really much internet access available. No proper showers, only big sinks. Lock out from 10-2. Location is not bad, about 15 minute walk from train station. Dorm rooms are good, spacious with a toilet and sink in the room. Staff was nice.

Wouldn't recommend this hostel I had 100 euros stolen from my locker in the room because we weren't told that you had to use the locks that the hostel provided so it was still possible for someone to open my locker. Also the atmosphere in the hostel was really bad there were a lot of old people. We also had problems with our food being taken and so did a few other people we were talking to. Our stay in Florence wasn't as amazing as it should of been because of this hostel.

Hello , we are sorry for what happened and sorry that you didnt enjoy your stay with us. Regarding the stolen money, they are plenty of signs at the reception and in the rooms about security, free padlocks and safe deposit in the office. Also keep in mind that only the people that sleep in your same room are the ones that have access to it.

Average Hostel. Great for young travelers in Rome on the go looking for a place to rest up not chill down. Location perfect! Walking distance to the Colloseum, Republica, opera house, restaurants and shops. My group spent lil on transportation. The beds where great and rooms where clean but this hostel has only three co-ed bathrooms for an average of 25 guests so sometimes things can get smelly and cramped. I spent most of my time strolling the streets of Rome so this didnt brother me.

I stayed in a two person room and it was HUGE! It was really great with private bathroom. There's a luggage room which was great because we could put our suitcases in there after we checked out and then leave for the day. Location isn't in the heart of everything, but the walk isn't too bad. Biggest complaint is the curfew. If you're not back by 2 AM, it's closed until 6. So we kind of couldn't go out as late as we wanted to, but overall not too bad. Pretty clean, not too loud.

The hostel had an excellent location right in the downtown. All the main tourist sites of Florence were an easy walk from the hostel. The hostel was fine; clean, a nice common room for games and eating, a kitchen, and free computer usage. The main worry I had was that at least a few of the lockers don't lock. Even when locked, all you have to do is turn the knob and the locker would open anyways. There are safes you can put stuff in at the reception desk and nothing of mine was stolen.

Kind of far from most sights, but not too bad of a walk - As for the showers, you either have the option of regular flow with freezing cold water or a trickle with hot water
