It's your standard backpackers hostel (clean and well-kept), but rather far from the heart of city. No major issues, except that it is far from the main attractions and the buses can be quite infrequent. I would not recommend walking from the train station to the hostel, unless you're traveling light and don't mind an uphill hike for 25 - 30 minutes. There's a bus that goes straight to the hostel, and you can also call them and they'll pick you up in a shuttle for 2 Euros.
great hostel and you can listen to free classic vocal concert every night lol.

Staff was helpful. But accommodations in Italy is so horrendously expensive. With the price I paid I expected more than what was offered. The dorm beds are old. There is no reading lights which makes it difficult to navigate in the room when everyone is sleeping. The drainage in the bathrooms is not so good so the floor is wet most of the time. The good thing is they have a kitchen.
The showers were a bit crappy, but everything else was great.
Nice place to stay in Florence for a couple of nights. There's internet in the rooms and the bathrooms are really not bad. The staff was helpful. The main problem is that there's no breakfast included, so the price is a little high for what you actually get. However, the guest kitchen is a big plus: you can cook your own meals in there. There's all the kitchen stuff that's needed, plus two refrigerators to keep your food in.
Close to most everything, and having a grocery store right next store was great
This is a fantastic hostel! As a university student on a budget, I was delighted to find that this hostel (one of the cheapest I could find in Florence) was actually one of my favorite hostels to stay in. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the setting idyllic, and the rooms/beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hostel!
The hostel is located at the other side of the river, along with a very decent neighborhood. The building itself is interesting and spacious however the atmosphere is not very vibrant. Everybody seems doing their own business even there is a huge common room. It's a good hostel if you're looking for something quiet.
Friendly staff, perfect location (walking distance to every interesting place!) and a nice kitchen well equiped. Lockers for use with own padlock are in the room. Just my mattress was very soft and some of the showers didn't have a lock. I would definitely stay there again :)
Cheaper hostel for Florence but it was just dead. Nowhere to hang out and only one toilet block for the entire building. Wouldn't stay here again.
There was no atmosphere, only three cook tops were going so we had a bit of a cue when it was dinner time, the guy at the desk didn't seem keen to be there, but there was another guy who was more helpful. It definitely wasn't the worst hostel but it's definitely a quiet one
Weird room design, male toilette is in front of a female dorm (16 beds !!!). not so clean, even though they spend hours everyday to clean rooms. lots of mosquitos as a bonus. But overall i like this place as it's well located, with a kitchen (it's rare in italy)
Easy to get to from the main train station. Bed was uncomfortable, but it's a very plain jane hostel!
It is necessary to describe there is no lift. It is hard to carry luggage through narrow stair.
Great location, loved the night receptionist who checked us in she was great. Nice room, clean and comfy. Plenty of bathrooms to go around and good, simple breakfast. Would stay again.
Was an ok stay, not much of an atmosphere even though there is a large common area beside the kitchen. The kitchens pretty small for lots of people, the bathrooms were average, but at least there were lots showers and toilets. Would maybe stay again or try somewhere else. Best thing is the supermarket practically next door to the hostel.
Located within the city center and it is convenient to walk to all the places. The staff seemed to be quite busy with admin work, it took some time for them to come to you to answer your questions, but they were friendly.
The location was great. At the other side of the river. With quaint shops and beautiful neighbourhood. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend this place. :)
Stayed here for 3 nights in a 6 bed female dorm. Room was large, beds comfortable, and lockers (although on the small side) fit my book-bag nicely. Located right next door to a supermarket so you are able to get food/drinks as needed to save money instead of eating out. Hostel is about a 15 minute walk from the train station, not too far away to make it a hassle but just far enough off the beaten path to have a nice quiet night's sleep.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, beds were comfortable enough, but the showers weren't great. Everyone staying at the hostel was very friendly though. I was very close to a lot of vwry nice things to see, but not sureounded by other tourists and the area had a nice vibe. I would stay here again.
