Good kitchen. Clean. Computers with internet provided. The lockout is a bit annoying if you want to come back in the middle of the day to get sunscreen or sunglasses you can't until 2pm.

Nice place. sheets, towel and internet are free which is good. Seems like a good social place if that's what you like. They have a nice enough kitchen if your into cooking at your hostel.

Good location and good deal for the price. Towels and padlocks for free (you have to put down a deposit). Lockers in the rooms. Clean facilities. Helpful staff. Definitely recommend this hostel.

This hostel was good. It had nice facilities like wifi but the large female dorm I stayed in had so many people, there was also only one outlet in the room for all those people. Other than that, everything else was fine. The location is a little ways walk from the main part of town but not too bad. The actual area the hostel was in was quite charming.

Very large place, with un-welcoming common areas. Only one plug in a room of 16 beds. Showers were fine, but no soap in the bathroom! Would be nice if you made the dinning area more friendly. Staff attended to the basic minimum but were not very helpful with tips and questions.

Great hostel, close to pretty much everything. Not really a very social or party atmosphere, but nice nonetheless.

A nice hostel with clean rooms, lots of showers, (small) kitchen and free internet. The fact that it is located in an old convent gives it a nice touch. Avoid the huge dorms which are way to noisy. The fact that you pay the city tax separately and in cash, without getting a 'ricevuto fiscale' is kind of dodgy, but nevertheless is a cheap accomodation in an otherwise overpriced city.

Good Hostel for a few days in Florence. Not too far from most of the major attractions (but the main Florence is pretty small anyways..) Staff was friendly enough, offered to put any extra valuables in a safe that they had behind the desk. Showers were hot and had pressure, plus there were a lot of them. No hand soap in the bathrooms though. Otherwise a great stay! Well equipped kitchen as well.

I was witness of a theft. People who were not guests of the hostel just got in to steal the wallet of my friend in the kitchen while we were cooking. His jacket was lying on the bench, and at the moment we both looked away, they took out his wallet. It would be great if people (not-guests) would not be let in so easily. And: the WiFi was too slow for a proper use. Apart from that, I had great days and will book the Hostel again very soon! Thanks and all the best

Great atmosphere; large common area for sitting and eating, sort of like an old mess hall. Staff was helpful. Lockers in room and lots of showers and toilets. The kitchen was huge, and there were two computers free for use. Very easy to meet people here. Location was great, since the historical center was just a 5- to 10-minute walk north over a bridge. Beds were comfortable, free linen. One of the best hostels I stayed in while in Florence, and I had to go to several.

Huge common room was really great for meeting new people. I was able to bring in food and wine, and everyone was willing to invite me over to their table. I was. One weird thing was that it is located right next to an opera house, and one night the opera went kind late... And it was really loud. The location was great for getting around town and to and from the train statin though.

location is excellent! near the main station as well as nice restaurants and gelato shops. common area is not that conducive to mingle with other tourists. wifi is weak. common bathroom has no door(only curtains) and very little room to put your stuff. other than that mixed dorms is quite value for money.

Loved it, make sure to go to the gelato shop on the corner of the bridge closest to the hostel (2 west of the fancy house-bridge) and the south bank of the water, it's UNBELIEVABLE. Anyways, great hostel, bring a lock if you want to use their lockers (otherwise borrow a lock for a 5 euro deposit that you get back), I made dinner in the kitchen (nice) from fresh food from the Mercado Centrale, great way to end the day.

Absolutely amazing! Very clean, simple check in - the people who run the place run it as a proper business. They will help you with questions, but dont joke around- not that thats an issue, they're very friendly. The common room is amazingly large, the cooking facilities really let it down though - only two hotplates and one wasnt working. Also the wifi is timed - you have to log on and use up time which was a little annoying. I ended up staying an extra night - fantastic place.

Location is not bad even not in the top center though close to Pitti and in a restaurants area. No hot water. Shower was not running. Not worth for more than 1 night stay.

The hostel was pretty nice, in a good location, as it was not directly in a chaotic area (by the duomo, I mean). The room was nice, as well. However, it can be really loud there--you can definitely hear people in the hallway screaming and slamming doors. Regardless, my stay there was lovely and the staff was very nice.
