The rooms in the old house at the main place are renovated authentically, and with highest quality and love. The leader of the hostel does it carefully, with enthusiasm, and the scope to do a good thing for his visitors.

Hostel Santantao is fantastic. It's location in Giraldo square couldn't be any more central in Évora, the hostel is immaculately clean, professionally run, secure, and lovingly attended by Nelson. I had a fabulously relaxing time in an extremely peaceful and friendly hostel. It represents superb value for money and Nelson goes out of his way to make it a pleasant stay for everyone of his guests. 10/10. Thanks for a lovely time. If ever Évora beckons again, i'll be sure to stay here! :)

Very nice man in a very nice hostel.

I had a very nice stay in this hostal. Location is great, evrything is very clean, the man working there is more then nice and helpfull, and the breakfast was really nice. For what you pay you get a way more than you expected.

Great Hostel. In the "downtown" great view from the windows. A A/C in the room for our comfort. Great place on the rooftop. Sadly, I was the only guess in the hostel. There's only two bathroom, wich was enough at this time of the year, but may be a little short during the summer.

Couldn't have had a better stay. Thanks to Nelson for looking after me. Loved the terrace.

The place is clean, well located and have a nice decoration. The best thing is the host, the better host i ever had in a hostel, he gave us tips, lend us books and was really awesome in general.

Nelson was very accommodating and his suggestions were very helpful. We particularly enjoyed the megaliths and all the sights in and around Evora. Sleep was restful and very warm. We highly recommend this central location in Evora.

This hostel is really nice. Its been build by this one really nice guy from Evora, and he's great to have a chat with. When i was there, there was practically no-one else, since it was low season, and the whole town of Evora is deserted. But i had a good time. Good breakfast with local bread, computers, wifi, good showers. So nothing to complain about! The best thing was the location, right at the central square. And the view from the roof-terrace was amazing too! Next time in Evora i'll be back
