There's really nothing Scandinavian about this hotel. It's more like Arabic or Chinese. I don't understand why one staff member has to let you in to your room every time you come home. It's annoying for both parts.

Location in bad area. A female traveler felt unsafe and left to central Brussels. Must go down the street to reception every time to be let in is hassle. No key of your own. Couples may not sleep in the same room, women upstairs, men downstairs. Good size lockers located in very small common room. TV in dorm is noisy. No electricity to charge devices. Clean bathroom. Close to metro. 15-20 min metro to anything worth seeing. More central location would be better.

It was good that we were able to return from the city at very late hours without having problems to enter. I did not appreciate however that they kept my id overnight. otherwise the sheets and the toilets were clean and the dormitory almost empty.

very bad hostel. its not handy, its noise, quite far from the city center, which is not a problem during the day, but i didnt feel safe at all walking by myself in that area at night. they dont give u a key for the bedrrom, you depend on them to open for you all the times. staff not very helpful. i wouldnt go back there.

It was located in a horrible part of town. I did not like that we did not get our own keys. On of the staff members inappropriately winked at a girl in my room. The room was always very dark. It was not cozy, but felt big and cold. There was also basically no common area. It was expensive for what you got.

It would be nice to have some subway maps (and explain how to go to the best touristic points if the guest wants).

Try and clean the rooms every once in a while! The same goes for the bathrooms, there where the same hairs on the tub from the first to the last day! And you have a nice space, why not use it in a smarter way? And the door opening method at night? I'm sure there are easier ways than having someone waking up several times at night, in an understandable bad mood, which makes service terrible!

That's a really strange place. You don't get a key and have to ask staff in another building to let you into the hostel. There are no lockers or anything where you can store your things. There is no kitchen or dining room, so you can eat only in a hallway. There is a strange smell in the sleeping rooms. Some beds are broken. No breakfast included. There was free Wi-Fi internet with good speed though. The hostel has a good location - 15 min walking from the very center of Brussels.

This hostel is in a very bad neighborhood and was not open when I walked to it from the train station. VERY UPSET.

There were several things that needed to be repaired within the hostel. There was only one light in the room, and there was a bare light bulb. There were two bunks that were broken. The handle in the shower stall that I used came off. Also, I could not find the light switch for the main bathroom. The maps provided by the front desk were sub-par, and I could have used maps of higher quality and with higher detail. Despite these issues, I found my stay to be rather pleasant.

The hostel impressed me. The accommodation were the best I've seen in any hostel. Probably because they are a Hotel, and should be testing being a Hostel, too. Well, take advantage while you can. The only thing that wasn't very cool is that you don't receive any key, so every time you want to enter someone in the reception must go with you to the room. Overall, very comfortable.
