We originally planned to stay for two days but ended up spending the week! A lovely place in a beautiful town.. the staff could not have been more helpful and always made us feel at home. More like a guesthouse than a hostel with a lovely terrace overlooking the river. Would highly recommend it!We originally planned to stay for two days but ended up spending the week! The Hostel was basic but warm and cozy. The directions from the train station were difficult to follow,but hostel was nice. However one of ladies was very rude when we cooked some mash patatoe before our journey, we were told we were taking advantage and that leaving our bags was just a curtesy!we were spoken to like naughty children! When we went to leave my partner went to use the toliet and it had been locked! never ever had this treatment in a hostel before! the other lady was very helpful. Very friendly hostel owner, who gives good advice about things to see, where to eat, etc. Good kitchen, average bathroom, lovely deck above the river. The owner has dogs also. Pretty small, dark and clattered place. Cleanliness is so-so. Only the bathroom looks bright and clean.
Other than the above, everything's else is great! Nice view of the river. Friendly and helpful host.
Do note that the directions provided isn't 100% accurate (for things have changed), though we still managed to get to the hostel rather smoothly.
