I found the staff rather brusque, especially the young man 'guarding' the breakfast (free for hotel guests, not for hostellers). The location was great for me as my plans were on the West side of town, it is out of the way if you want to be in the old centre but there's trams and buses that will get you right there in not much time at all. The room was clean and comfortable, particularly nice hotel-quality toilet facility shared with just those in the room. There's no secure area for bags.

staff is really bad and recepcionist (night) was rude. breakfast is not included, however it is written

there was a guy that had been living in my room for 8 months, and the hostel is a mission from the city center, however the room was clean, bathroom a little bit moldy but nothing too major.

Very good price, nice hostel, clean bed and bathroom. Private bath. Excellent breakfast. Kind staff. Night traffic stops front of the door. Tram ticket from center to here 1,70 Eur. Low noise, comfortable bed.

Nice, clean room and bathroom, easy to find parking place, good breakfast, friendly staff. Ive been there twice, as i travel once a week there, im glad ive found my favourite Hostel in Amsterdam. WiFI connection was good. Thank you for hospitality.

except that one young woman at the reception that she has a little bit borring bTehavior, so that you can think that she work there as a volluntier- for free.. The others by my opinion was at normal conditions.tThe free breakfast for all the customers, give some more possitive points at the worth of it.

Despite its remote location from city center and its non "well looking front", our stay at Slotania Hostel was very nice! Rooms were confortable and very clean. Shower was spacious. Breakfast plentiful and varied. Besides, there is a tram and bus stop at 20m from the hostel.
