I stayed at this hostel for almost 2 weeks and enjoyed it very much. The staff quickly learned my name and often asked me to join them on nights out or to sit and talk on the terrace. It was a clean place and I felt safe and taken care of. I would really recommend this place for any length of time in San Telmo or Buenos Aires!!

Upon arriving, they didnt have our reservation through hostelworld, but luckily they had another room available to put us in. It was a bit loud, but it was okay for us. The breakfast was good.

When we arrive to the hostel they DID NOT HAVE our reservation through hostelworld...but they give us another room at the hall. It was a little bit noisy but was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was not too comfortable especially the shower which has broken doors.

Really, the only negative thing about this hostel is that smoking is allowed in all the common areas. So, if you're a smoker, this is a great place to stay.

Rooms are located around a central courtyard and noise could be a problem. The breakfast was good as was the internet connection. The hostel is a bit dingy but you get what you pay for so if your looking for cheap this ticks the box.

If you like a party and listening to disco until 6am than this is your place. Apparently there was a naked man hiding under the bunk in the room I stayed in the night before I got there. Seems like it was full of a bunch of burnouts.

Good: Staff helpful with everything- Joyful free tango lessons on mondays. Less Good: Breakfast preparation makes nosie close to rooms which is not for long-sleepers.

The place and the owners are so nice. It's a really hostel for back packers. The only bad point is the cleanliness. However we enjoy this hostel and the atmosphere !!!

Never stay there again. I went there a day later than originally ordered b/c of flight. Even that the staff seemed not remembering my order and arranged me a triple room as a private, saying that no room was left. There were no air conditioner in it, what\'s worse was that ventilation was down, they never managed to fix it. Staff did not speak English much. Ones who live in seemed to be a group of mobs who did not have jobs and stay for months. Neither did they have travel plan.Worst day in BsAs.

great staff... except for a cheap lady who works in the mornings and afternoons and who did not let us have breakfast on the 1st day before 10am because we had not paid for the day and although we were ready to pay for it!! we found out later that she was more interested in business (she tried to sell us some dinners at very expensive Tango places although we kept repeating that we were not interested!!!) than in providing a good service to the customers.

I was very frustrated that I could not charge my stay to my credit card, after I had been able to book a room that way. The fact that only cash was accepted was NOT posted anywhere on the hostel's website. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired, even for a backpackers' hostel. I was not expecting much in the way of linen, but we had to ask for towels (twice) and the bed linen looked like it had not been washed in a while. In general, the facilities look shabby and poorly maintained but could be m

The staff is really great, specially Rafael, who organizes and cheers it all up! The security and the atmosphere wasn't that good, and it was the main reason I check out earlier from the hostel. A computer was stolen from our roomate, and the girl who did it remained there, sleeping at the hostel! And, the most unpleasent thing to us, was the presence of an italian girl (a blond one, with short hair, dance teacher) who kept saying terrible things about brazilian people, with prejudice.

The rooms are around the common places, where there is alot of noise till 3 or 4 in the morning. The hostel wasn't clean and some people got stolen. Would not recommend.

We had a lot of problems in this hostel. First of all, we had booked a private room and when we get there didn\'t have any room for us. So they put us in an empty shared room wich terrible conditions. Were a very old room, very dirty and the water in the bathroom was cold. Later we got to know that was the worst room in the hostel. Another problem was with the breakfast. Was suppose to be served from 8h to 10h AM, but when we get to the common area at 9h there was nothing more in the table.
