Fantastic location - right beside all the action but still very quiet at night. Room was very large, and very air conditioned, and had its own desk with a computer, fridge, washroom and shower and table and chairs. Right outside the door was a small kitchen and laundry facilities if you needed them. Staff were very helpful and the whole place had a good atmosphere - definitely recommend!
Please fix the bunk-bed rungs. They spin and are potentially a hazard. Someone will eventually injure themselves. Other than that no complaints.
The four bed dorm was a little cramped but the lockers were good, and there was a shared kitchenette. Great location. Staff were helpful. Wifi was good. Was on ground floor next to office.
Had a spacious and air-conditioned private room in a shared apartment. More than comfortable and close to the centre and bus station.
Sometimes the people at the front desk can be a bit rude...
Right in the heart of split. Very small but comfortable. No kitchen or common area. Helpful staff

I thought that their amazing staff truly made the experience great. So friendly and always looking out to make sure you have a wonderful time. The apartments are clean, comfortable, and located in the best area of split.

We had our own room in a shared apartment. The staff were friendly and showed us to the room. There were two more groups of people in the same apartment but we didn't have any problems, everybodyw as quiet and respectful. There are two showers, both clean. The location is great, just two minutes from Diocletian's Palace. Keep in mind, it's perhaps the 5th floor and there's no elevator. There is also just one toilet for all the people. Aside from this, top-notch place to stay!
The hostel was less like a hostel and more like an apartment- which was amazing. We stayed approximately 5 minutes away from the reception area which worked in our favour as it was closer to the beach. The facilities were fantastic and we would definitely stay there again.
The air-conditioning system is absolutely ridiculous. The window has to be kept open due to a pipe having to be placed outside for the AC to work. This results in a lack of security and many mosquito bits. It is also incredibly noisy, so much so we were both unable to sleep. So you cannot sleep due to noise, the itchiness of mosquito bits or the heat because you decided you couldn't take the noise or mossie bites anymore so you switch it off.
A nice hostel near the bus station. A copule of minutos away from the Riva and with a couple of supermarkets on the corner. Also really nice staff willing to help with information for different day tours.
We got a random upgrade to a private double bed with en-suite and small kitchen, which was really nice. Very clean with helpful facilities. The only downside is the room location was separate from the reception quite a bit up the road, which I think the other rooms are too, so it was further away from the old town than expected.
Try not to stay in the dorm the private rooms aren't much extra and are heaps nicer, our dorm smelt and was tiny..
Very good location in the centre, still rather quiet place to sleep in. The room was spacious and clean, except the shower wouldn't dry out and the its smell was unpleasant. But everything else was great! Would stay again.
Great location and well sign posted from the road. Very welcoming staff on the main desk, even a luggage storage area. Room was massive with lockers and clean bathroom. I even had a computer in my room. Only let down was hostelworld selling me a single private room, when i got there it was a twin room and i had to pay double the price includingnthe deposit?!
Only stayed for one night, room was clean, beds comfortable and in a great location to everything in Split. Staff were helpful and let us borrow their mobile phone to make a booking for some other travels.
This hostel was in an excellent position, only about 4 minutes walk from the ferry port. We had a private room which was pretty awesome. Had a fridge, its own kitchen and a PC/TV to use in the room too! Wifi was rock solid and the staff were very helpful. We would recommend to others for sure.
We stayed one night at Hostel Split on our way to Hvar. The Hostel is in a great location close to the port and bus station and old town. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they recommended the restaurant "Toc Bistro" which is nearby, the food was great! Our double room was clean and spacious, WiFi was good as we were close to reception. Would stay here again!
It was a real surprise to see the spacious and very cozy room after a long drive. The girl on the reception obtained very useful information about the hostel, parking places, the city and the feast on which we were lucky to attend. The dinner in the recommended restaurant was really tasty for good price.

We were moved from the room we booked to a separate apartment because of works outside the room. The lady who showed us the apartment confidently said there was no light for hot water because it had already heated earlier in the day. We later found out that there was no hot water at all so this was quite annoying. Might be a perfectly good hostel generally but a bit of honesty would have been great!
