Good for a cheap place to sleep in Helsinki. As long as you can sleep on a 1 cm thick mattress with equal thickness of pillow and blanket. Not too far from city centre, only two stops away by bus. Absolutely no atmosphere and people in the lobby or breakfast room are only there to use the wifi. Nice kitchen facilities and bathrooms are clean.
About 2km far from the central railway station but you can use tram 2 or 7A to get there easy. It is not a party mood and quite calm. I could see many older people unlike the other hostels. Facilities are quite nice, and the staff were very friendly especially the staff working at around midnight.

Has everything you need and boasts with loads of Finland travel info! Will definitely come back. (Plus: Foosball!)
Me and my friends globally enjoyed our stay, even if we thought that the lady at the reception could have slightly been a bit more polite and welcoming. The cleanness of bathroom and shower wasn't perfect and I hope the hostel will improve on that. The common room with TV and sofas was a great spot to meet people!
Whilst slightly out of the city centre, Stadion Hostel is pretty cool. What it lacks in being central it makes up for by staying in the actual olympic stadium. A HI hostel with all the awesomeness, lights and sockets for each bed, lockers, clean showers (tho' a lack of locks on the girls shower room, but its fine). Breakfast was kind of pricey so I didn't eat there. The staff were informative and helpful. Definitely a cool place to stay in Helsinki.
