The location is great, its 20 minutes in any direction to town, and attractions. There was a lack of atmosphere but this is due to a number of zones, e.g. the TV room, dinning room etc are all closed door and isolated. However, it was busy and there are a number of places to hang out and chat. The showers are bland but the pressure is excellent. If you've been to many hostels this place is no different, i'd stay again but only for a few days. The clientele is very diverse, OAP to families.

Security good, but did not have larger luggage lockers for free price. Location good: 20 min walk or 5 min tram from downtown. Staff good, helpful, but Finns are quite quiet and not 'friendly' by nature. The atmosphere is good, but lacks wifi in all areas. Decent Wifi, but does drop for 30-60 minutes, a few times each week. Excellent cleanliness, Value, Facilities. Free breakfast would dramatically increase the appeal here.

Not in the best location. Had to walk 20minutes from the train station. No wifi in the room.

nice staff! , clean hostel.

The hostel was very nice! Location was a bit of hike- still fine walking distance from the city center, and the trams are very convenient, but it was more of a problem at night. The airport bus did not stop along the way for me. There were nice tv rooms, a big kitchen and nice dining room. I agree that this was not the best place to interact with fellow travelers; people were not overly friendly and there were some older men. However, it was a great value. Breakfast was kind of greasy.

There are so many rooms with so few toilet and showers. My room is room 24, which is more than 30m away from the toilet... So inconvenient ... In addition, no wifi access in the room...

Positive is that the staff was friendly, the given room was and 8 bed dorm instead of the booked 12 bed and the breakfast's value for money was fair. On the other hand the hostel needs some renovation, especially the bathrooms and toilets, which are not up to date anymore and the atmosphere at in general was not that good. I weren't satisfied with the mattress, which was too soft for me.

I really appreciate the 24 hours check-in at the reception, the staff was so nice and friendly. The kichen has cooking utilities so it is really convenience for cooking. But my ham was stolen in the fridge, which has my name on it. And i am windering why the female bathroom didn't have a door lock. But still, it is a good option for a cheap accommodation.

People are really nice, and I could ride tram at the very near place to hostel. But the dorm where I stayed smelled little bit musty...the toilet was not that clean...but for staying only one or two nights, it was okay to me.

You pay alot for not much, everything costs extra (free towel though). City centre is about 30min walk or trams are close by. The hostel is very clean. Kitchet is well eqipped. The showers are have a weird setup. Has no age restrictions which ruins the young travelers atmosphere (I was the youngest in my dorm by 25 years). Overall a good hostel.

Great staff, clean and tidy room with good shower.

Great hostel, though you guys should think of organizing pubcrawls or city tours of something like that

As far as hostels go, this is a great place to stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful, the place has great atmosphere and every thing you need. Wifi that works, kitchen, sitting room, t.v. Room, dinning room, buffet breakfast at an extra cost. Beautiful parks and lakes to walk around. Train station is only 20 minutes away and the ferry terminals a good 45 minute walk.. Would stay here again for sure.

We had a private, 2 person backpacker room which was better than expected. Hostel is easily reachable by various trams or busses. Or it's a 35 minutes walk to the central railwaystation. The hostel was clean and not crowed. Only negative thing was that you could hear everything in your room, e.g. guests leaving in the middle of the night. It was my second stay though and i can definitely recommend this hostel!!

Location is not very good. You should use tram to reach downtown. And breakfast for 6.3 euro is so expensive so I cooked everyday. (Alepa mart at Töölön halli sells many cheap breads and drinks.) The worst thing was the atmosphere. Many old men were there and many guys live there, not tourists, just for live.
