I stayed in two different dormitories of 12 and 9 beds - and what I really liked was the fact, that the rooms are very large, so you can actually breath and don\'t feel jamed into little space. The kitchen is functional but no more than that and the facilities are working alright! And other than the fact that it has been the Olympic stadium it does not offer much of an atmosphere, to my taste. However, the price is un-beatable I would say.

I loved the hostel and the very helpful staff. I look forward to staying there in the future. The 3T tram is so cool and it runs right by, so you get to know Helsinki. It is a great city to visit! And they have many lovely cakes and great kahvi.

Ok, but the bunk beds look about 30 years old. I\'m sure they could go to IKEA and buy some more modern furniture for not too much money.

Hostel is good, nothing much to complain, only thing windows are huge!! and I wonder how it is during winter. Breakfast is average, Kitchen is very good! , hence buy your own food and cook.

Stayed for 2 nights here and where to start... Location is excellent as only less than 5 minutes from market square and all other areas very close. The guest house I stayed in was perfect , warm , comfortable slept great both nights. It was also quite at night time as well. Price was great and staff was very helpful ( and cute !! ;-) !) . Would recommend this to anybody looking for a place to stay in Talinn made my trip there enjoyable and when I go back will stay here again . Many thanks Greg

Location was horrible, even using the tram it takes at least 25 minutes to the city. No food options close by. No anything closeby. Staff are friendly when approached, but always stay behind a glass screen in the office. Toilets had a terrible smell even after being cleaned. Large group of school students on the last day. Breakfast was really good value. Hostel was cheap for Helsinki, but far from good value for money. Don't recommend. If you do stay here, buy a transport card ASAP.

This hostel was different to those throughout other parts of Europe. As a solo traveller it was not what I was looking for. There were a lot of you children, and some families, and did not have the young traveller vibe that I enjoy while travelling. Although this hostel is good for what it is it was not for me.

The hostel is located at the BACK of the stadium, so it's a long walk around to it, which can be kind of scary at night since the road is deserted and all the surrounding properties are unused at night so there's no one anywhere around. It's a solid ten-minute walk from the nearest transit stop, which is itself another 10-20 minutes from downtown. The neighborhood is fairly uninteresting and not exactly budget-friendly. I recommend you spend the extra couple euro to stay somewhere nicer.

Upon arrival I was met (not greeted) by a stoic male employee, who barely looked away from the computer screen, explained nearly nothing about the hostel, and showed a bit of disdain towards the guests. The staff did not get better throughout my seek stay. The accommodations were acceptable, save for the male restroom, which was so horrid that I refrained from using those facilities for the remainder of my stay. If somehow convenient (as in the only hostel available), I suppose Stadion Hostel would suffice.

The hostel was clean, located in relativey big distance from the center (conveniently located if you are coming from the airport), the staff wasn't the friendliest in the world, internet provided, towels provided (although towels are mentioned to be provided for a fee they were given for free). It was quite expensive but still the cheapest option found so if no other solution could be found I would prefer it again in any future visit to Helsinki. I spent a night there and I was ok.

PEOPLE ON THE FRONT DESK WEREN'T THAT NICE. THE HOSTEL IS CONFORTABLE AND THE 6 EURO BREAKFAST IS WORTH IT.

No kitchen and they discourage eating your own food in the shared dining room :/ However, everything else is quite good - a nice budget hostel that I would recommend.

The hostel was a good place to stay one night, clean sheets, clean shower on the corridor and a buffet breakfast was good enough. Maybe not a best place for longer stay.

Terrific hostel right in the centre of Old Tallinn. Our room was basic but I was highly impressed with the value for money this hostel offered. Very friendly staff who offered to ‘come and rescue’ us if necessary!!

A bit far from the city centre, but if you like non-tourist places, you can easily get to e.g. the Winter Garden, various shops in Kallio and on Runeberginkatu, etc. A very convenient tram station on the Mannerheimintie is also close. Service and facilities were great. We did have a strange problem, finding and squashing a small bug on our sheets. Upon close examination, more squash marks were found, but the reception had nothing to say except that we shouldn't be worried about that.

Hostel Stadion was very clean & good value for money The only problem we had was finding the place on the first night (Sunday 8 April 2012) as the sign to the hostel at the end of the road is completely obscured by the present roadworks on the main road at the turn off to the hostel!!. Whilst this is not a long term problem, the roadworks will be there for a few weeks yet, and I suggest that the sign is temporarily moved until the roadworks are complete t make it easier for visitors to find
