I loved sleeping in a wooden house while outside was raining. Kind staff and good breakfast.

The receptionist was not helping us at all with finding things in Zakopane, she didn't know anything, and wasn't trying to help us at all. She wasn't treating us very good, and we had to ask for where to go have breakfast There was maybe two other guests at the hostel, and we expected that we would meet other people and have fun. So we were kind of bored, eg. they didn't had any board games, and they charged money for using the pool table and other facilities. But the breakfast was very good.

This was a sweet little hostel and I liked my room which was clean and cosy. However, at 2am on my first night a member of staff was cleaning the bathroom next to my room, it woke me up and I was not very happy! It was very echoey in the hostel and the staff preceded to mop stairs etc. That is my only complaint.

When we turned up our triple room had been given to someone else, luckily they had a twin room available, but one person had to sleep on a very lousy fold out bed. We later found out that \'management\' had taken the room to sleep in themselves. However they did move us to our room the next night. Everything else was fine.

The windows closed not so good and the wind blown in to the room. Heating was good, but the room was a bit cool. Anyway, the place is very lovely and friendly. We will back next year!

This is a really lovely and characterful hostel in a great location. Traditional building creates a good mountain holiday atmosphere. The hostel is spotlessly clean and warm - with really comfortable beds too. With breakfast included, it represents extremely good value for money and is great fun!

Heating in the room did not work, so they gave us a small electric stove Two days we were without WI-FI in the room The kitchen could only be used until ten p.m. The owner was not very kind and one girl of the staff scream us for use the kitchen after ten p.m. when other worker told us that we can use it all the day Water pressure in the shower was insufficient and sometimes the water was cold and sometimes hot The building is very old

Nice hostel, however our room was absolutely freezing. It was a twin and was extremely small with a large window. We went in January and of course we had a lot of snow and the heater just didn't cut it. We were told extra blankets were available but we just didn't want to get out of bed! Breakfast is just bread and cereal. However it is a lovely building and good location.

As with all such things you tend to get what you pay for. Location very good relative to public transport. Noise is a factor but anyone staying in a hostel should have earplugs. Not entirely impressed with bathroom cleaning activity in middle of night which will hopefully stop after this review. Ten minutes give or take ice on path to main street. Could do with a little more lighting in main areas. Skiing in immediate area cheap as chips which is basically what you come for right?

Very cold in rooms, no heating. Hot water sometimes disapears. Uncomfortable beds. Noisy doors and floors. Good internet.
