The room was OK, the elevator needs maintenance ASAP is hot as hell and really old. The room's lock was not very safe but it worked well. In general it's an old building but it is in a very good location, you can walk to the Obelisco, go to watch Tango or enjoy a great asado really close. You can walk downtown, to the Cathedral and the Hostel has really good contacts with the turist providers so you can get good deals, but double check the timing because we lost our night reservation
Hostel and stuff was really nice, location very good, room had ac. And shower, hot water, also a big window. Cleaning lady was coming every day. Totally recommend.
There is something about cleanliness item. Here some info about you staying in the hostel: 1. After three days they would change your bath towels. 2. If you wish to change the bath towels, you may put them in the floor that they will be changed. So, we put our bath towels in the floor at the third day and they put the towels that was in the floor back to our use. We asked for clean bath towels that day but they did not give. I did not understand.
This hostel is great, I booked one night and ended up staying an entire week. I had intended to stay one night in Buenos Aires, but after one night here I decided to stay longer. I don't speak Spanish and I mean zero Spanish, the staff not only helped find my around the city, but helped me adapt to Argentino culture. Out of all the employees two stand out above the rest. Dante and Carlos both very friendly people who helped me and saved me a lot of embarrassment in Buenos Aries. 10 stars.
Excellent location. Rather soul-less, but as is to be expected from a 300-bed hostel spread out over many, many floors. Included breakfast not bad, but rather disorganized: plates, bowls and glasses need to be asked for and often not readily available. Free dinner on offer three times a week, but generally best avoided. Still, would stay there again.
Fantastic all-in-one hostel in the centre of Buenos Aires, in the shopping street Florida, where you are close to all the attractions of the city. The staff is great and very helpful as well as kind. The breakfast is very abundant too!

I´ve been to a couple of hostels before. Of all them, The Hostel Suites Florida is the one that best ensembles all parts together. Bathroom ensuit makes a difference for better, as you´re in a private room. I had an easy stay there and would stay again. Particularly wanna say thank you to front desk Vero Chayan & Edgar, and the older lady, who patienly waited for me to wake up late, to make the room 104 so clean, everyday afternoon. Forgot to ask her name, but, you know her name. Thank you all.

It doesn't feel like a hostel, really. It looks way more like a cheap hotel. Many children, elder people, families, etc.
Location is REALLY GREAT, close to a lot of things and close to the metro system that works really good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I think I asked them about 100 questions and they were helpful in all of them without getting annoyed. The kitchen isn't well equipped so it's hard to make something a bit advanced in there. Needs quite an upgrade. Biggest issue I and more had is that the wifi only works in the lobby and it makes everybody be on their phones there. Fixing wifi in the rooms
Great environment. Abundant breakfast. There is always only one elevator working. You need to increase the frecuency of cleaning of the toilets in the central hall.
Bathroom very dirty and with a terrible smell!!! Only have internet in the reception, so it was always crowded and dificult to get. I paid to rent a towel (I already knew that in advance) but I was not expecting a dirty and ripped one. When I asked about a way to go back to Ezeiza airport at 6 a.m they only offered us a taxi for 480 ARS (we had paid 400 from the airport to the hostel). We went to the airport for 145 ARS in Manuel Tiendas Leon city bus! They should have more info about that !!
My brother and I have had several great stays at Hostel Suites Florida during our time in Argentina. The rooms are clean, with ensuite bathrooms attached to every one, and each bed is made every day! We especially enjoyed our interactions with the receptionist, Giovanni. He was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay - it is always nice to make friends with those who work at a hostel. Thanks Giovanni!
Good location as a in BA. Decent enough rooms, I had a female dorm with ensuite and this was good. It is void of atmosphere, sociable and WiFi centred in one area so everyone glued to their phones here.
no wifi in the rooms, which is a no-go in 2015. Only in the lounge has wifi and since everybody is trying to connect, signal is very low hostel does not provide towels (although advertised), locks for the lockers or power adaptors (all are advertised in the front desk but they dont have) Also, it is a hostel and a cheap hotel, so a bunch of old people who ruin the mood for party and going out...
Great central location. The bar is a great feature - popular with both Porteños and backpackers alike. We'll informed walking tours were the highlight.
The breakfast could be better and the dinner as well.

this is just a big budget hotel, with no hostel feel or the traveller vibe i like in hostels. bathroom smelled and just one small kitchen for 300 rooms.
