Staff sucked. With the Exception of Thammi and the Australian Guy

Fantastic - great staff, location and facilities!

This is the most "McDONALD'S HOSTEL" I've ever stayed in! Price isn't expensive considering location, breakfast and cleanliness. But you are treated and you feel like a customer the whole time. Plus: After staying 3 nights, I was unlucky enough to have my girlfriend get so sick she couldn't walk the morning we had to check out. I was getting her medicine and considering taking her to the hospital, and the only thing the staff/desk girl kept on saying was "You have to check out". Shame on her.

The staff is incredible, very friendly and helpfull, they go out of their way to help in any way.The location is excellent. Security is great, they have it all well organized. we stayed in a double room with a private bathroom, it was spotless. The air con was a bit noisy and the room showed the age of the building, no doubt. I felt,the private doubles are overpriced, it is the most expensive of the HI hostels in BA but perhaps it is the location. All and all a good experience. Thanks staff.

The hostel is the best of the region and all the employes are so helpful and gentle.

This is an excellent hostel. Very good staff, excellent location and an organized silent and security policy. That was the second time that I stayed in Florida hostel and I recommend it to everyone.

Overall, everything was great. If I had one suggestion for improvement I would say that a few times there were not enough people at the front desk to handle the number of guests waiting in a timely fashion. It seemed like the logistics at the front desk could use some efficiency improvements to process things a bit faster.

Big hostel more like hotel - David and Tammi on reception particularly helpful. Good for couples as double rooms are big and clean and simple. Good location to access all city areas and street is very lit up at night, but you need to taxi for nights out.

Thami was the only excellent staff member who knew how to address all of our question. All of the other staff were not very good at their job. They all had a very low attention span and seemed to be easily distracted by other queries when continuously interrupted. This meant that any individual inquiry took a ridiculous amount of time to get an answer.

Elevator allways with problems, we had to up 8 floors many times.

Everything was pretty ok. The only issue I had there was with other guests. I took the private dorm on the 9th floor to asure I would not have trouble with the noise and the mess from the first floors. Whoever, nextdoor were a group of young people that made noise all night long 3 times in a sequel until I had to call the staff. I just think the same kind of room should be on the same floor. So the different groups would have any misunderstood.

No soap in bathroom, toilet leaked for the whole week that I was there (all over the floor), staff are hopeless and never helped you (instead played on fb), told me the bus was full to my next location, yet on the bus companies website they had seats.... I showed them and they then admitted they just couldn't book those seats....? Lift was broken everyday which is tough when on the 7th floor. Staff are boozed and hit on all the girls... Only good thing is the location. Not for single travelers.

Breakfast in the bar downstairs is nice - fruit, cereal, bread, coffee or tea. Beds are super comfortable. Lockers in rooms are large and bathrooms ensuite are generally clean. Hostel is well located on a busy pedestrian walkway near centro. It felt little bit like a college dorm because it was so big, but individual rooms are quiet and all come with AC.

Awesome place! Good breakfast, comfortable beds, AC, wifi. Perfect location! Blocks from the subte, Plaza de Mayo, and right along Florida, tons of shopping and character right outside the door!

The only criticize I have is regarding the products they sell for night programs. They tell about free pizza, free sushi, free vodka, but in fact it is not the really. They should be honest to the customers while selling this night clubs packs. About the rest, it is incredible. The staff, specially Mrs. Fernanda, a Brazilian Girl, is excelent, despite she does not tell the truth about those night clubs packs.

It`s more like a hotel rather than a hostel. I missed the informal chats in the living room, and staff wasn`t that friendly and willing to help. The location is great though, it`s easy ti get around and have fun and the rooms are big and comfortable and clean...

I had a great time!...I would come back
