Room on street very noisy. More bathrooms needed and cold showers in one bathroom. Swipe key access to room would be much better security wise. Shared areas good. Staff friendly.

I spent two nights last time there. Both nights there was no hot water on the 4th floor. To be fair, the kitchens and bathrooms looked renovated but if someone is willing to pay more for a more satisfying experience, I would recommend the other hostel from the same chain, on Florida St. Anyway, the prices are affordable and you get what you pay for.

an OK hostel, just another Big hostel with no real character. it has everything you need however when we were there 2 of the bathrooms on our floor were not working and the internet was also very patchy. very good location right in the center of town and easy to get everywhere.

The staff are a little dim and slow. My room was a private but very noisy. I came back to the hostel to find the cleaners had been in and left my door unlocked. The shower was like a trickle.

Bathrooms could do with a bit of sprucing up, but it is really central and I felt safe. Missed a balcony / terrace for smoking though - it's horrible to be out on the street!

It's a good hostel but I wouldn't say that it's so amazing to have such a high ranking in hostelworld. Maybe we had bad luck with our room. It was a private room with the only window to the corridor and the window could not be closed. We could therefore hardly find sleep during the nights. Another bad luck that we had that one guy was on the toilet for the whole morning throwing up and even oro pax did not help to find sleep :-(((

We had a great time, very friendly staff but the shower in the 4th floor didn't work. We arranged a tour via the hostel to Tigre which was really boring!!!! We want there with a bunch of old people and there was really nothing to see. They should recommend tours and honestly tell if it is better to do a tour on another day or during another period of the year....obviously during weekdays nobody is in Tigre, its just a domicile for puertenos for weekends. Breakfast was good, FRUITS were available

Staff was not helpful AT ALL, whenever we needed anything it would be difficult to get info or help from them. Our twin bedroom did NOT have a window, was crampy and stuffy. Common areas were also stuffy. Bathrooms were clean, on average and location is cartainly the highlight of this place.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel suites obelisco. It has so much character and is comfortable too. It was very clean. The breakfast was good. I liked the common area with the nice balconies facing very busy Corrientes avenue. Despite being located at the very heart of Buenos Aires and within easy access to most sightseeing spots and transportation, it also offers you a peaceful and restful sleep at night, as most of the dorms face the backyard. I had greatly enjoyed my stay there. Thank u!

This Hostel is located very close to about everything you need. Subway, 24hr Marts, Restaurants and shopping. The hostel was very clean, and the staff went above and beyond whenever I had a problem. I highly recommend this hostel.
