They changed our 4 bed female dorm (which we had booked for the four of us) put us in two different rooms the first night. Someone, with no reason, had modified our reservation. The bedroom key did not work properly and a staff member had to cut, with a saw, part of the key so it could open the door. He told us that he has warned the person in charge of the hostal about this issue but she hasn't done anything about it. The room in which two of us stayed the first night had an awful smell.

Poorly arranged and ill-advised me concerning my airport shuttle. And the taxi was late. The transfer company sucks. They made 4 pick-ups, detours in BA in heavily congested traffic and 3 hours later when I finally got to the Airport, of course I missed my flight home and this cost me another 8 hours of delays. Worst of all was your bedbug ridden room. Have at least the courtesy to offer complimentary arrangements rather than still make me pay for it. I'll let Lonely Planet know of this.

Really lovely hostel, the staff are so friendly and helpful especially if you are trying to practise your Spanish! Great location in Palermo too, and it is so clean!

Grat hostel within walking distance of the nightlife. The staff was very helpful and more than willing to help you get the most out of your stay in Buenos Aires. Breakfast was great and through the hostel you can book shows, pub crawls, skydiving and, our favorite, futbol games! Highly recommend staying here.

Brilliant hostel! Probably the best deal in Buenos Aires, in a charming art nouveau house from early 1900... Palermo, best area in the city to be at.. Excelent benefit-cost ratio. And a friendly and helpful staff... Well done, chicos...

I signed up for the free shuttle service, but they don't run 24hours and I ended up having to get a taxi from the airport, as my flight came in after the last shuttle. Lacking a bit in character as not much central area for socialising.

The Palermo Suites is a pretty big hostel with a lot of dormitories, although it`s not very loud due to the fact that the fun factor is rather low: No video, library, bar as a meeting point or common events. Recommendable for quietness searching travellers, even if it has not a cosy room to hang around.
