staying in hostels in south america was my first experience. hostel suites palermo was the last hostel my daughter andi stayed in and it was the best one of our trip. the staff was helpful and kind and we met many people that i can see as lifelong friends. i would recommend this hostel to anybody going to buenos aires. thank you for making our stay memorable.

Best hostel in Palermo, if you ask me! Close to subway station. Very clean (the even clean the stairs every two days), lovely staff (especially Belle), atmosphere is awesome. It is in an old office building, like very spacious. Showers are sometimes a bit unreliable. Ah, and you can hire bikes which are parked here in the patio. Many reasons I think to come here !

About as good as a hostel can be, great friendly helpfull staff (and dog). Free coffee all day, breakfast was standard but well stocked. Very clean, comfortable, a huge terrace, secure entry. The room was quite far from the social areas so nice and quiet.

I have travelled for 3 months in south america and this is the best hostel so far. Its nice located close to restaurants, metro and several lovely spots as parks and palermo soho. Furthermore the staff is welcoming and so helpful epecially a girl called veronica and a guy from venezuela who answer all your questons gladly. I was robbed in my first hour in Buenos Airea and veronica went with me to the policestation and helped me the whole way through which was like 2 hours.

It was a great location however it was a bit loud most nights with music from the reception area and with guest being in the courtyard until very late into the night.

The only positive thing I can say is it was very clean! Top marks to housekeeping! After that .. It was extremely noisey, we had to get out of bed twice to ask reception to turn down their music at all hours, breakfast is whipped away at 10 precisely .. Even if u have untoasted bread in your hand!?! It's a hostel guys... Chill out! And reception gave us incorrect bus numbers and prices (well off) for day trips. Unlike its sister HI in San telmo I cannot recommend it.

veronica and luis were excellent staff, incredibly helpful, when we missed our flight to ushuaia, veronica informed us that we would be able to transfer our flight to another day and gave us the address and directions to the office. as a couple we would definitely recommend this hostel!

Hot water wasn't enough for the size and popularity of the hostel (cold showers only sometimes). Rooms were decent. Lockers could do with some improvement. Internet wireless was good in common areas. A little noisy until midnight or so (staff included with music etc)

After this hostel I went to Hostel Suites Obelisco and its incredible how their beds are more comfortable, the computers are faster and wont collapse in the middle of a chat, the breakfast is better and how silent it is at night even though tehey are downtown Buenos Aires.

The STAFF IS TREMENDOUS at Hostel Suites Palermo! Every single member is kind, knowledgeable and generous in spirit. They\'ve put together quite a team and should be congratulated for their commitment, enthusiasm and the energy they put into making your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Kudos to those hard working ladies that arrive early every morning to clean and help prepare the morning meal ... they did their work with smiles on their faces and a pleasant greeting for all. Thank you.

Plus: - Free shuttle from EZE, on-time - Close to subway - Friendly, helpful staff Minus: - Very noisy on the lower level. Hard to sleep even at midnight. Try to get a room on the upper floors. - Terrible pots & pans in the kitchen. Get ONE decent pan, please!

We has no hot water for showers, which I consider essential. My travel mate complained and she was given a bathroom downstairs for showering, which was hot. Didn't compensate for my cold one!

We stayed in a private room with ensuite however we twice had to shower in the communal bathrooms from lack of hot water. We basically had no hot water the whole time and sometimes the water would stop running altogether! When we told the staff, one guy (he is there during the day) in particular was really unhelpful. he did not apologise once, and as a representative of the hostel that´s pretty shabby. Also, we couldn´t check in till 3 and noone said sorry!
