I enjoyed the stay at Hostel. It was okay. The hostel is very good and the rooms are large. The staff is good. The only problem is that the hostel address sends you to a difficult place to reach, getting there has a role on the door saying you need to go to another address, so you have to walk more.

What makes the Trabr hostel worth to recommend is its location close to the city center, It was very easy for us to come back during the day for catching up something if forgotten for example. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we had a nice stay. Rooms were clean but not that charming ;-)

It's a school dorm most of the time so it doesn't have any atmosphere whatsoever. I don't understand why you need to hand in the key everytime you leave the building, seems really unnecessary! Clean rooms and about a 10min walk from the main bus/train station as well as a 10min walk to the main part of town.

Really helpful staff. Nice clean, quiet room. Amazing buffet breakfast! Excellent location near bus/train and centre. Had a great 2 days!

Big hostel, nice breakfast, useful laundry room, but limited kitchen facilities for so many guests (even if the defective cooking plates would have worked).

Our stay was very nice, hostel is located very close to the center. A breakfast is included in the price.

The kitchen need a more bigger fridge and the stove is really bad ! ! Not working at all. Need to be change.. All the remaining facilities were excellent.

Free breakfast was decent and very useful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was simple but perfectly satisfactory. Short walk from main station and the centre.

Huge hostel, good location and good breakfast included. Kitchen was pretty average, but besides that it was good and I would stay again.

Close to town, short walk to the center. Nice. clean rooms although a shame you don't get your own key. Nice free breakfast. Good secure parking.

Good breakfast. Location near the historic center. It was very-very stuffy in our room, in spite of the open window. There is not individual lights, only common. It's variant only on one night.

We originally stayed for one night in a private 3 bed dorm which was excellent but had to stay a second night last minute. The staff were very accommodating and gave us a room in a 10 bed dorm but there were no lockers in the room, although everyone did have a key. Breakfast was included in the price which was a great selling point.

Some of the staff were great, others were not. You'd get that anywhere I suppose! It is a very big hostel and probably has the perfect atmosphere for people who want to connect and be very social at all hours. Inside the hostel itself (at least our floor on our building) wasn't particularly loud, but other guests who were out late or up early in the hostel courtyard were VERY loud. The rooms, bathrooms and showers were all decent, for the number of people using them. The breakfast was also good.

Good value for money with an excellent breakfast included. Lack of atmosphere in such a large facility.

Private twin room was great and spacious, and breakfast included is a bonus. Obviously it is a boarding school most of the year so has that feel to it rather than a hostel atmosphere, but we really enjoyed our stay. Location is fine as Ljubljana is small so everywhere is walkable, and convenient for the train station too.

Very nice place. Super staff. Large parking lot behind gates. The 4-people rooms are really big. Lockers in poor condition and facilities somewhat old, but who cares? To be recommended!

not a very fun hostel, very functional beds and it's quite spread out so doesn't have much of a hostel feel. clean and central though, so was fine for a night's stay.

staff was not friendly at all. the rest was ok

We travelled with three kids and we have been very happy!

Its a school residential building converted into a hostel for summer thus the staff really didnt seem to care about us and acted irritated when we asked questions. On our last night they got mad at me for not handing the key in before I went out to do sightseeing because that was apparently a rule. But at checkin they gave no imfo on the hostel or any tips on the city. the manager should reform their staff. I have worked at hostels before and their attitude was horrendous.
