Beware, there are no signs in front of the hostel and it just looks like a normal house. Although once inside, it is surprisingly well arranged. We stayed in the apartment with our own kitchen, which was very nice to have. Very secure place and trusting family. The owner is very attentive and helpful, making our stay enjoyable and easy. It seems far from the centre of the city, but the public transport is really just a block away and walking is healthy anyway ;)

We staid for 3 night and room are very simple and typical the owner is very nice. Don't be afraid by the localization the neighborhood is quiet and safe. The hostel is well situated you can go in downtown by walk -spend 30min average- or by bus but perhaps you will prefer to go to Pope Square where you should see the whole city of Belo Horizonte - spend 30 min by walk- We really enjoyed this place we recommend it.

It was a bit hard to identify because there was no signage but thankfully the address was straight forward. The hostel was homely and comfortable but I probably would not have stay much longer. The wifi was poor and completely gave out on our last day there when we needed to book a few things. Not convenient. Be warned that it's quite a steep climb to the main square from the hostel.

It was one of the best and coziest places we've been through! The place is not really a hostel but more a guesthouse but it's worth staying there! Some reviews say that the owner does not speak English. That's true but he speaks very good German! So if you speak German it'll be pretty easy for you!
