So, this is was a really Small hostel... it only has 7 beds, in 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, 1 bathroom, and a living room with tv. Thats pretty much it. Since i stayed there during the WorldCup, it worked for me, and, i have to say that his owner was nothing but kind to us, always available to talk and to give references, he even lives at the back of the house. Internet woks fast, and the place is really clean

We felt safe and comfortable. Is is near to the Center of the City and good for night life in the Party Locations in savassi (many Clubs and bars). The staff was very nice and helpfull. They were flexible when we decided to stay two more nights in the hostel. The hostel is hidden, due to the lack of sign on the door. But this makes it just more secure. Just ring at number 67. One of the two owners speaks german what makes it easy to communicate. Thumbs up!

The owner of this place was very helpful and nice. I could come to him for any question I had. The price for the rooms are reasonable and you get a good value for money. The area might not exactly be hip, but right next door there is a really cool footballers bar!

Beware, there are no signs in front of the hostel and it just looks like a normal house. Although once inside, it is surprisingly well arranged. We stayed in the apartment with our own kitchen, which was very nice to have. Very secure place and trusting family. The owner is very attentive and helpful, making our stay enjoyable and easy. It seems far from the centre of the city, but the public transport is really just a block away and walking is healthy anyway ;)

We staid for 3 night and room are very simple and typical the owner is very nice. Don't be afraid by the localization the neighborhood is quiet and safe. The hostel is well situated you can go in downtown by walk -spend 30min average- or by bus but perhaps you will prefer to go to Pope Square where you should see the whole city of Belo Horizonte - spend 30 min by walk- We really enjoyed this place we recommend it.

It was a bit hard to identify because there was no signage but thankfully the address was straight forward. The hostel was homely and comfortable but I probably would not have stay much longer. The wifi was poor and completely gave out on our last day there when we needed to book a few things. Not convenient. Be warned that it's quite a steep climb to the main square from the hostel.

Small hostel with a good price.

It was one of the best and coziest places we've been through! The place is not really a hostel but more a guesthouse but it's worth staying there! Some reviews say that the owner does not speak English. That's true but he speaks very good German! So if you speak German it'll be pretty easy for you!

It`s a friendly and very clean hostel, close to the bars of Belo Horizonte. As we were the only people in the hostel, it`s difficult to judge the atmosphere.

It´s hard to judge, Belo Horizonte isn´t exactly a tourist´s paradise so location wise it was maybe 20 minutes walk to Savassi (the going out area) and maybe 30-40 minutes to the city centre. There were 2 others in the hostel the first night and none the second so I can´t really rate it for atmosphere. It was more functional than atmospheric. Also, it confuses taxi drivers so if you can mark it on a map, you´ll get there quicker and cheaper.

A smaller en quieter place than I expacted, but with a most friendly owner. I guess it's more busy in the high season, if there is such a thing in BH. On walking distance of bars and shopping mall.

We felt like we rent an apartment just for the two of us. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. The owner only speak basilan however he is very helpful and do everything he can to understand what we wanted to say and everything he can to ensure we understand him as well. A very nice place to stay.

Very nice and smiling man working there. The area is nice. The hostel is very basic.

The hostel should have a sign with its name to make it easier to recognize.

We came to Bello Horizonte and wanted to stay only a weekend... We ended up staying 3 weeks... The hostel was amazing, it really felt like a family home. The staff was so nice, nice in a way we have never tried before on our 7 months trip... It was the most clean hostel we have ever been at, the staff was cleaning ALL THE TIME, very nice! We would recomment everyone and anyone to stay there, we had the best time... Nadia & Ellen, Denmark

Hostel was a bit hard to find without a sign outside.

Nobody answered the door when I arrived mid-afternoon. Only got in because I called, so you might be in trouble if you don't have access to a phone. Other than that, owner was helpful. Hostel was very basic without much character - good place to lay your head for a night, nothing more. Pillows were lumpy. Hostel is pitch black at night, so there should be some sort of night lighting in the areas between the bedrooms and the bathroom - currently a safety hazard. Lá em Casa is better.

The Hostel was alright. In general it was really clean. The host was helpfull and spoke 3 Languages. The Area is safe and there is everything you need around the corner. It lacks a bit of caracter. Some plants could help.
