probably there are differences between rooms but the 8 bed room in downstairs is really bad.. it's not clean, it smells bad and not comfortable at all. its still under construction so everthng is a mess.. maybe the private rooms upstairs are not like that but for an 8 bed room, u can pay 2 euros more and find a perfect hostel.

The hostel we stayed had nothing in common with the pictures. We had a 4 bed ensuite and it was underground, with no windows to have some air and with noise coming from the street above us and the ongoing construction inside the hostel! But the worst part came in the morning, there ought to be breakfast until 10, however as we were in the dining room at 8.45 there was no more bread. And the unfriendly staff told us that they can'y bring more because it was sunday! Do not stay at Hostel Tamka!

I very much enjoyed Tamka. The location is close to Nowy Swiat, the Stare Miasto, etc. The staff here is great, so friendly and just really nice. The breakfast was good too. The beds were comfortable and the room had alot of space. The shower has hot water and good water pressure! I love you, Tamka! Will absolutely stay here again.

Though they where painting the place while I stayed there and the dorm seemed to be hosting people that where unfamiliar with turning lights off when mutiple groan in half-sleeping agony, it was still a nice stay. The rate was cheap and the breakfast was good, not to say amazing in comparison to many other hostels I have been on. I liked the lounge with the tv, showing bbc as well. They also had three computers operating on Ubuntu, with a fairly quick connection speeed.

4 of us stayed there for one night in 4bed ensuite. It was clean, a bit too hot and there was an issue with opening the window in order to get some fresh air... but generally hostel is nice inside (outside looks quite old), there is very nice living room with computers, sofas, tables, big kitchen space. Wifi works fine. Reception girls were nice and helpful. Hostel is very close from city centre, around 10-15min of walking. In my personal opinion this is the place where I would stay again.

Hotel is good. One thing, that I don't like - we booked room for 8 bads for girls, but instead of this we had 4 beds and 2 of our roomies were men. I am not against this- but if you have rules in hotel like this- write it please before on your website!!!!!

There where too less bathrooms and toilets on our floor, and the two bathrooms that where on our floor weren't very clean and one of the toilets didn't flush very well.

An excellent hostel. When I stayed there (October) some refurbishment work was being carried out. This is always a good sign as it shows the owners are serious about theiir business. The staff were excellent. Really enjoyed my stay and will be back.
