Nice place, friendly and helpfull staff. Limited choice for breakfast, out of Jam and cereal but for the price sounds fair. Would stay again.
Quiet place, rooms with AC during nightime, clean and helpful staff. Location in between the two historical parts of the old city.
Great place! The beds have curtains and lockers that they give you a key for. The shower is big (though cold) but it's so damn hot in Cartagena that I really didn't mind. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is a ways from the main drag but only a 10 or so minute walk. It's near to the busses that take you to Playa Blanca. Compared to a lot of other hostels in Cartagena you really get good value for what you pay.
Location is the best thing this hostel has going for it, just a few blocks from the main streets in Centro. There is no real indoor common area aside from the reception, which also has minimal seating. The roof is spacious but the guest kitchen is lacking in equipment. WiFi is sporadic. All beds have curtains to block views and lockable charge boxes. Overall, this is a great place to sleep, but not the best to hang out and relax.
Great location, quiet hostel (a plus for me -- not a fan of super loud ones).
Location is good - very close to the old city. Air con was a god send. The beds were quite dirty - don't think the sheets had been changed for a few days (found food, sand and hair on mine). One bathroom between 10 people is really bad and was never cleaned, quite disgusting. There are no windows so room smells of damp. There is no atmosphere at all which is a shame as there is a very nice communal area on the roof where people could utilise it by having a few drinks together.
The location is right by el centro, a market and restaurants. Each bed has a safe box with an outlet inside which was great. Each bed also has a curtain which was fine. The hostel was clean but lacked totally in any atmosphere. Also, the kitchen was a joke as was the breakfast. My biggest complaint was that no where in the hostel offered air during the day. The tv was on the terrace which was so hot there was no way to relax at the hostel until bed time. I suggest you stay elsewhere.
Chilled out, well priced, clean hostel with good wifi, AC, and 24 hour reception. Breakfast is simple toast / coffee, but there is a huge supermarket a few doors down so you can keep expenses low by cooking at the hostel (eating out is pricey). ATM next door, info on tours / activities, friendly staff. Not super social, but we really enjoyed hanging out with the people we did meet here. Short walk to Media Luna hostel for the big Wednesday night. Expect a frisking from police on your walk home.
Dorms are clean and private, beds have curtains, private bathrooms, air con at night which is nice & needed, secure, very convenient for public transport, supermarket 2 doors down, very close to old town and in a pretty safe area.
Great hostel in great location. Good hangout and friendly environment overall.
Very friendly and helpful staff, rooms were nice and spacious with own outlets and locker. Air con was nice at night.
The hostel was good. The staff was helpful and and the roof top was nice. The a/c is only turned on from 8pm to 8 am so sleeping in is hard...it's just so hot but otherwise the hostel if good.
A hidden gem! I thought this place was great!
It's one of the hostels that I enjoyed the most among all the hostels I've staye Location is awesome, walking distance to everything, and huge super market just 2 mins away! The staffs are the most helpful and friendly ones I've ever met, Duver especially! He helped us so much, Thanks you so much! They clean the toilet quite often and breakfast is supplied all times. The roof has great atmosphere we even saw fireworks by accident! At night is quiet, definitly recommended!! Awesome place to stay.

The staff is absolutely lovely! Especially Duven who have us loads of really helpful tips! Security is very good as someone has to buzz you in the are amall lockers close to your bed to put small things in and a switch inside to leave your stuff charging! Also there are curtains around a the bed for personal space. Great terrace and nice kitchen. Clean. Shame there's no sitcom in the bathrooms! But it's nice and cool from 6pm to 10am! I loved that it wasn't a party hostel!
Thanks Rossana for being such a great host. Good hostel and located.
I forgot my shoes in the hostal and came back a week later to see if they were still there... and they were!!! Pretty cool and honest staff. Thank you!!
Staff were very helpful - but not always available and hard to track down. The walls were peeling and the floor dirty. The air-conditioning unit leaked all over our luggage leaving it soaked for the flight home. The free breakfast was a bread roll. I don't like being too down on places, but this wasn't an impressive hostel.
Rooms seemed cramped and the lack of natural light was unpleasant. Although the bathroom was large and the shower was decent, the sink leaked every time it was used and the toilet door didn't lock, which was not ideal. Kitchen was good, shame about the breakfast and the tiny quantities they served. Lack of atmosphere in the hostel. 100% not worth 30000 COP!
