It is hard to find what is better in this hostel. Perfect location. Quiet and clean. Friendly environment, perfect for meeting nice people. Excellent tips and tours. Awesome staff - very helpfull and kind, especially Dirley... this is the MAN! Thank you everyone for the great time that I spent in Manaus! P.S. - I visited two other hostels in Manaus, and believe me, the Hostel Trip Tour in Manaus is the Best!

The hostel was alright. The staff was friendly but none of them spoke English, which is a minus. But the location was perfect - the opera house just around the corner and the tourist information office as well as several registered jungletour agencies in the direct neighbourhood. The rooms were basic yet tidy, breakfast was okay. Beware of the touts trying to sell you jungle trips inside the premisses of the hostel. Make sure to do a propper research before booking or paying anything.

The downside was that the hostel was full of old people and the staff only spoke Portugeuse. However, on the plus side, you can buy boat tickets directly from the hostel and someone will help you buy your hammocks and show you to the docks.

You really feel welcome here, from getting fetched from the airport in the middle of the night until breakfast with Dona Fran! Enjoyed the place very much.
