Right off ring road and had a parking spot for my car
Pool was being cleaned when I stayed so was not available as well no wi fi available in double room which is separate to actual hostel. Double room consists of two single beds. Tourist info. and excursions were non existent. No buses from San Juan to moon valley, you had to have a car to drive yourself or hire a private car. San Juan itself is pretty quite and not that much to see and do. I ended up leaving after one day and returning to Mendoza.
The hostel was not really bad but very quiet when we came in the middle of December. It was pretty far away from the center (in walking distance) but close to the bus station. The worst part was that neither the Wi-Fi nor the cable internet was working!
One bathroom for around 20 people? The best thing about this hostel were the group of Argentinian fireman who prepared for an excursion there; that was quite funny. Otherwise I would not stay there again.
Good hostel if you are in San Juan. I was here to visit Valle De La Luna. Bed's were comfy. Was only really here to sleep so I do not really have much insight to offer. Sorry.
Aside from the bathroom cleanliness, it's a pretty good cared place. And not expensive, so it's recommendable if one's have no much money.

A couple of problems with this hostel: 1) They did not honour my world booking and did not refund the booking fee. They are on Hostel World, but don\'t think they receive any/many bookings through the site. ie they werent really sure what a hostel world booking was. They were apologetic about the mix up, but we still had to hit the street to find a new hostel. 2) the Hostel is a long way out of town, with no shops, restaurants, public transport near by. Need a taxi to go anywhere.
