el mejor lugar para quedarse en alajuela, facil y familiar

The staff was so accommodating and patient. My stay was cool, quiet and comfortable. It was a wonderful way to send off my multi-week journey in central america. The bed was comfortable, the room stayed almost too cool and I was able to feel relaxed and calm the whole time. Plus, i love the access to the internet. I had a lot of people I needed to keep in touch with and things to take care of and the computers were readily available when I needed. I also enjoyed the early breakfast! Thanks!!!!!

Because it's jammed tightly between buildings on both sides there are no windows to the outside, only a door in the very front lobby. So it's dark and closed in. I made other arrangements and left as soon as I saw the airless, windowless dark cave that would have been my room. As my past bookings demonstrate, I've stayed and enjoyed mostly all of the hostels, but this one was run down& depressing. Having said that, David, who was running the place temporarily was lovely & helpful.

the hostel is alright, very clean and staff very friendly, the only thing is that internet access is bad and slow

It was a good place to come to just after coming into or before leaving Costa Rica. The staff are friendly and helpful but struggle with English and the hot water doesn't work.

Clean place with nice staff (one spoke better english than the other). I had a private room with private bath. No windows in room but my door opened into the courtyard like area with fresh air. The wifi worked well. Felt safe especially with locked gate at night. Very easy to walk to restaurants and center of town. Took a cab from airport for $6. Liked staying in Alajuela to stay out of San Jose.
