Very clean. Friendly staff let me check in early, and have a shower after checkout. Bit far from Keskuska (town centre) when its snowing, but a pretty walk. No real common room, nice kitchen and big lockers. Not a party vibe, but a calm comfortable night.

Just used it for a stop over for a night. Did the job nicely though. close enough to the port and city centre.

I was very disappointed with this hostel. We arrived at about 10.00pm and we were addressed by a grumpy woman in her middle ages. Her introduction was along the lines of'you are late, I can cancel your booking and sell your beds' She did not welcome us at all. She continued to state that we could not use the showers as it was silent time. This woman spoilt our time in turku and really influenced our opinion of Finnish people. I would not stay at this hostel if you are older than 10.

A nice place to stay, also if you're just staying. Relaxed atmosphere. Nice cooking facilities.

No free internet, the fee of 3,6e per houre is way to much, especially when the net is running slowly, that the opening of email box took me like 5 min.

This hostel was just ok. I was in a very cramped 8 bed dorm when I had booked a 6 bed. My b/f had been allocated a bed that had hairs all over it and the girl at reception wouldn\'t switch his room until she inspected for herself! The dorms were also very hot. However the showers and bathrooms were clean and there is a nice big kitchen. A big downside is that there is no real common area - just the reception that has some chairs and a tv but it is not overly comfy.

Nice guest kitchen, but the 4-bedded room is far too small.

This hostel was the best I went to in Finland! Many older people and families stayed here so it is recommended if you want a quieter hostel.
