Directions to Hostel Tyn

Map & directions

From the airport:
TAKE bus 119 from the airport to DEJVICKÁ metro /underground/ station. Continue by metro/ underground/ to STAROMĚSTSKÁ station. Come out of the underground at STAROMĚSTSKÁ station and take KAPROVA street to the Old Town Square ( very picturesque place with a prominent statue of Jan Hus in the middle). Look around and find a fairytale like church - TÝNSKÝ CHRÁM- very tall with two main towers. Come to the front of the church and take a small street which is on the left of the church- TÝNSKÁ ULICE- It zigzags a little and it is important to walk down Týnská ulice and not turn off to Týnská ulička !!!!!!!!!!!. It should not take more than 2 minutes before you get to entrance of the hostel.

From the main train station station:
If you arrive at the Main train station /HLAVNI NADRAZÍ/
YOU HAVE TWO OPTIONS - EITHER TAKE THE UNDERGROUND OR WALK.

If you decide for underground, take it to the MUSEUM station where you need to change to a different line which goes to STAROMĚSTSKÁ station.

If you decide to walk /recomended/ - come out of the main entrance - there is a park you need to cross and find find JERUZALÉMSKÁ street - at the end take a left and when you clear a block, take right to SENOVÁZNÁ street. When you get to the end of the street, look left and you will see a 'POWDER TOWER' / PRASNÁ BRÁNA/. Go through the tower to CELETNÁ street which lead you to the Old Town Square / STAROMĚSTSKÉ NÁMĚSTÍ/. You will come onto the square next to a big church, it will be on your right. Then follow directions:
