The hostel was very nice and comfortable. Location is amazing. Its a bit lacking in atmosphere. If you were a lone traveller maybe a bit boring. But me and my girlfriend had no complaints. I'd say the staff were pleasant without being over-helpful, except the last two days we were there a really nice student was working and he certainly brought the staff rating from "average to good". Very nice guy...

Fantastic location - you can walk everywhere, including to and from the main train station. Be careful if you are not good with maps though. The streets around the hostel get small and windy (what should be a 5 min walk can sometimes take 15min if you loose your spot). Staff were fine and rooms were clean and tidy. The atmosphere in the hostel is pretty quiet - not much really happens down in the common area - but plenty for good bars/clubs and other pub crawls around the hostel!

Our stay was great. The staff was extremely helpful and had pretty much anything we would need if we had any issues. Also, can't beat the location for the price.

Good Hostel, near all sights in Prague's downtown. Also its location is perfect for different transport (metro, train station and tram), and the security nearby is good. Finally, their staff is very helpful, I enjoyed my stay here. I recommend it to anyone who is planning to visit Prague!

the hostel is fine, unfortunately we forgot an important belonging in our room and we tried to recover it but we didn't got any answer from the hostel.

Best location of any hostel in Prague I think. Really close to the fairytale-like Tyn Cathedral and awesome Christmas Markets that are there in December. You can walk to the Charles Bridge in 10 mins and onward to the Castle. Hostel itself is in a quiet position so you'll get a good night's sleep on the single beds (nice to not sleep on a bunk for a change too). Very quiet hostel so not a lot happening, but there's plenty of pub crawls to go on so that doesn't matter too much.

Located in a location as good as it could have been. The rest are average. But location location location. Resonable price.

Location is AMAZING!! 10-15 minute walk from main train station.. 2 minute walk from the Old city center.. Close to many good bars and restaurants.. Very friendly staff.. And the price was excellent! My only (small complaint) was the bed was kind of uncomfortable..

Had a great stay at the Hostel Tyn. The location was more than perfect. Didn´t need any public transportation to get to all the sights. The room itself was very clean, furniture was in good shape, had a window that you could actually open and the heat was working properly! I have to say that the matress was a little uncomfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hostel was in a great location, and the vegetarian restaurant next door was exceptional. I think it was possibly the clientele during my stay, but this hostel was dead at seven pm. Luckily there's heaps of beer tours and pub crawls to be a part of, otherwise I would have been in bed as well!

Very nice hostel, well located right near the Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, and other sights. Kitchen and common area very useful! We stayed in a four bed dorm and had actual beds - no bunks! Would reccomend.

Excellent location! It's not easy to get to the hostel, even with a map but it's like a well hidden gem. Very helpful staffs. Room for improvement over soundproof wall and door, as footsteps were amplified along the corridor. Will definitely come back again!

Good hostel, perfect location, room was good size and clean. Vegetarian Indian restaurant and Italian bar/restaurant with live jazz in the same street as the hostel are also recommended.
