Great location but the rude and unhelpful reception staff made our stay unpleasant. It was too much trouble to even get an extra pillow. The hostel was noisy and the wifi didn't even work in the common areas. I would not stay here again.

I get nothing fun in this hostel.Very poor atmosphere, quite dirty and it was a continuous food-like smell all the time. I didn´d recomend it!!!! No in this hostel!

Hostel Tyn was clean, easy, in a good location and surprisingly quiet. My only issue was that you could not get Wifi in the rooms so you had to go down to the basement where the kitchen and common area is. Overall it was a really nice experience, super close, the staff was friendly and at the desk 24 hours a day.

The Location is really unbeatable, there is free wifi with good connection in the basement, the room is clean with big locker, the bed is comfortable, and also the bathroom is clean with hot shower.

The location is great. The staff is friendly, but did not always speak English. They had a free tour, but I did not take it. The free wifi downstairs was nice. I would stay here again.

This hostel is in an excellent location and a great deal for the price. There is a kitchen to use, and a locker in the room for each guest. The beds were very comfortable, the showers had great pressure, and it was very clean.

You couldnt ask for a better location! Hostel was clean and great value for money, but it was lacking in atmosphere and the staff werent terribly friendly.

The reception is very good. 24 hours of good advice and service. The hostel is a bit old and the carpet on the floor doesn't look very clean, but the toliet and the bathroom is quite clean. They have 8 free computer for internet and you get WIFI in the basement as well, but pity not in the rooms. Just 2 minutes walk from the main square, 20 minutes from the train station, 25 minutes from the florence bus station, and 5 mintues from the closest tram & underground station. OK for the money it ask.

The location can't be beat, near all sights in Prague's downtown. The lady in the reception is very nice and helpful. The rest is average for a cheap hostel. Worth the money for the location.

Very nice location, I would stay there again. We rented the `5 person room, and it was very spacious, and you get a big locker and lock.

The best thing was that the hostel is VERY near the old town square. However, the toilets were not very clean...and there was a flood in the showers. We were able to listen to everything our neighbours did, and despite the fact that smoking was not allowed, the smell said sth different. They had computers and free internet, which was sth good. Anyway, we won't go back there. the location is fab, but there are other hostels and hotels near there where you can find sth better.

The location can't be beat: two blocks from the Old Town Square, yet in a quiet alley away from the tourist hordes. This place was heaven for a few weekdays in March: we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The bathrooms were very nice and comfortable to use, which was appreciated. The biggest downside was that you have to go to the basement to use the internet. (Also, the wireless didn't work with my Windows 7 computer, but they had plenty of computers there I could use.)
