The apartments were very gloomy and dark, although the rooms were large and the linens were clean. Bathrooms were dirty and poor. There was no internet in the accommodation itself. Guests had to walk to the restaurant/reception a few buildings away to use free internet. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was delicious. Superb location.

This is not a hostel, it's more of a pension. The rooms and bathroom are ok but there is no Wifi at all. The breakfast is good and location is great.

Its a Great Hostel... But Please Wi-Fi in the Rooms...

The rooms were ok , but the staff was really unfriendly. Receptionlounge and breakfast área aré two blocks away from the rooms and there si no internet anywhere except from the bar. It si okey but Italia not cheap for what it si.

We had a really comfortable stay there in Hostel Vacanza. The location is great, just around 100m to the railway stations. The staff are very friendly. They offer FREE traditional Italian breakfast (croissant & coffee) as well. It's safe because the hostel only provides private rooms. I must say the hostel is really value-for-money!

Lower service for lower money. But the location is very good so we are happy with this hostel.

The staff are very helpful especially for first comers to Rome. The pizza and spaghetti are also surprisingly dilicious.

It's a perfect place if you have to spent one night in a business trip. Isn't the place to spend a romantic weekend. The bathroom was broken. But the hostel is located at 1' from the central station by feet!! The staff was really kind. The hostel and the restaurant are located in two different places, but they are not so distant (300 m) and the restaurant is nice.

We took the hostel for the last night before running to the airport to catch a morning flight. We did not see any "charm" of the hostel but were looking for a quite bed to stay in out last night. Be aware that the fan maks just noise and for the aircondition the owner asks for another 10 Euros. Hostel is well located but stuffy and quite noisy

This was the worst hostel that I´ve been in my life. The owner is very stupid and don´t try to explain the things in English. She also speaks in Chinese all the time with her son in front of the clients and they speak about then. HORRIBLE!!

I have put in security poor because a thief follow me and he enter in the hotel, he was a man from Bangladesh or India, i don't know, Rome is full of this people! A man of security helped me. well, the hotel is good, but i don't like the restaurant and the wi fi is another place, a 100 meters from the hotel. The room is ok. ;)

It's not bad and it's very close to the train station. But the toilet floor is always wet and the furniture is old. The worse thing- there is no WIFI in room.

We were expecting it to be a good hostel. But, with this amount of money one can stay in a far better hotel. The staff behaviour was friendly in the beginning but they were (how can I call it) a little discriminatory or racist. There is no WiFi in the rooms so, everytime we had to go to the restaurant to use WiFi which was not convenient at all. Overall it was just fine. I wouldn't recommend this to anybody.

If you want your stay in Rome have the atmosphere of visiting a prison or a refugee camp: Chose Hostel Vacanca. It was one of the dirtiest places we've ever been to - you are brought to a dirty flat where there a small and dirty chambers with windows with iron grilles in front. The bathrooms are dirty and old, it was just disgusting. And you will meet nobody since everybody closes his or her room out of security concerns and stays inside. Finally, you get to pay a high price for this experience.

Very helpful staff and extremely good location, walking distance from very important places of interest. and a few minute's walk to the metro station. Breakfast is also included in the price and they offered us 10 % discount in their restaurant. Will surely come back again. It's right next to the Termini station which made it easy for us to get to and from the airport without having to take another means of transportation.

We stayed in an ensuite room, the bathroom was good and the room was nice and clean (towels were provided). You don't see other guests but for us it was okay. Breakfast consists of a coffee (very good!) and a sweet croissant (nice). No kitchen facilities but there is a little fridge in the room. The staff is AMAIZING (thanks a lot for that;-)). The location is perfect (3mins to Termini Station), you can walk everywhere. The stay was nice and without any problems :-)

Do not stay here. The hostel is two parts. You check in at a restaurant which is the only place you can get Wifi. The rooms are located a couple blocks away and it seems like the restaurant owners just bought an apartment and put as many beds in a room as possible. The toilet and sink were both broken and the bathroom was over flooded. It is dirty and we avoided staying in the room as much as possible. We even considered sleeping at the airport for a night, that's how bad it was.

Good hostel. Clean room, good linen and towels, breakfast was a croissant and a drink (juice, coffee,...) served at the reception, which is in a different building than the room. WiFi is only available at the reception. Proximity to termini station is a positive remark. Definitively worth it.

small room, does not have wifi, reception is 5 blocks away from dorms

The hostel was clean, quiet and close to train station. However the reception it's in a different place. Don't have internet conection in this flat, just in the restaurant "reception".
