A very tiny place, very cute and excellent breakfast for 5€. Excellent tea. We will repeat when we return to Amsterdam

Good place to stay at. It is more like a hotel than a hostel. Breakfast is at 5 euros which is a bit expensive but you can always get your own food from a grocery store 5 minutes away. Will definitely consider staying there again if I return

REALLY SURPRISED TO FIND THE LOCATION right in the middle of the best most expensive shopping area and across the road from the van gogh museum - also surprised at private ensuite in 6 room shared dorm and great security with individual safes only request for improvement would be a dedicated ktichen this is where so much social interaction occurs the micro wave was better than nothing thanks everyone dr e

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had a private double room which was like a really nice hotel room, and was obviously recently refurbished. The room was very large, had a large clean bathroom and was very comfortable. The hostel was located in a very quiet area away from mot street traffic, the only downside is its about a 20minute walk to the centre of town, red light district etc, but there's plenty to do and see in the immediate area. Overall we had a fantastic stay

This hostel is more like a hotel and for me that was a good thing. I had two different 6 bedroom rooms and both were immaculate. The whole hostel is so clean and well maintained. Each room had a really nice bathroom and a flat screen TV which I really enjoyed! All the other reviews about the staff were correct though. I was incredibly put off by the fact that the owner replies rudely to negative comments, but decided to stay anyways. The staff were as helpful as I expected based on that fact.

It's Amsterdam! So it's going to be quite expensive for what you get. However, this was kept very clean, the lockers were very secure and was fine for a few nights sleep. Breakfast (5 Euros) was good as well.

It's a little out of the way but I liked that we were able to see another side of Amsterdam that you don't get to see if you stay in Old Town or in the Red Light district. It was a quiet place but is about a 5 minute walk from some great bars and clubs.

I stayed in a six bed female dorm and was impressed with the bathroom as it was better than I have seen in some hotels. The room is new and the sheets were clean. The whole room is also cleaned daily!!! My check in was delayed but I was able to leave my luggage before I could check in and could also leave it in storage once I had checked out. Its not far from Vondelpark or Leidesplain however it is a good 20min walk from Dam sq....the only downside is the really small and really slow elevator!

This is a hotel, not a hostel, or at least that what it says outside. The rooms were very good, clean and the staff was friendly. Location is good, just aside of the Van Gogh museum. tram stop very close and bus stop to the airport around the corner. Overall an excellent option to stay in Amsterdam.

Very good hostel. Definitely the cleanest and most modern hostel I've stayed in in Amsterdam. A great location outside of the old centre that is very easy to get to using the trams. Close to Vondel Park, Leidsplein and of course the museums. Safes in the room were good but I prefer a locker big enough to put a back pack in.

More likely a hotel than hostel - it's so clean both room and bathroom. Breakfast is also worth.

No atmosphere. Could do with a decent common area that doesn´t feel like a dining room. Location is good! Easy to get everwhere in Amsterdam by bike. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hostel was clean except downstairs toilet always seemed to have water and mud all over the floor. This isn´t necessarily the Hostel´s fault, but the people in my room were flippin´ weird. A middle-aged German couple who demanded the lights off by 10 and a Mum & son who were always arguing.

A good place to stay if you aren't looking for anything too exciting or interesting. It has a fairly large capacity which means we saw a lot of large school groups, although they had their own rooms and didn't really bother us. Breakfast was good and worthwhile at €5. The hostel doesn't really have a common room/bar though, so it's not a great place for socializing and meeting fellow travellers. The staff weren't all that interesting and I found it a bit difficult to get a towel from them.

This is a really nice hotel/hostel, located right next to the Van Gogh Museum. It's excellent value for money and is very modern and clean. The rooms have digital safes and air conditioning. I would highly recommend this hostel.

The best hostel I have ever stayed in. When you get there you will see it says Hotel Van Gogh. This is pretty much what it is and I stayed there for only 12 euros. AMAZING.
