Really nice quality hostel! I felt like it was almost a hotel, best showers I've ever seen at a hostel.

Really nice place, very handy for the mainmuseums and the tram. The place is as good as a hotel - we would stay again

The only reason that I chose "average" for security was the fact that you did not need any sort of key or ID to enter the hostel so potentially, people who are not staying there can freely use the building That being said, the rooms were secure with safes. The hostel was in a great location for the museums and it is possible to walk into the center, or it is very easy to catch a tram right outside of the hostel. Room and bathroom were clean as well.

Very good facilities, great bathrooms. Rude and unhelpful staff. It is a shame because otherwise it would be a great hostel. They gave vague answers, made me feel as if having to answer questions was a huge inconvenience and were simply rude at times. Little info about immediate area e.g. where the closest internet café would be. It is a shame because otherwise it would be a great place to stay.

Great location and facilities. Staff were a bit unhelpful and the place didn't have a great atmosphere.

The only people in the common area were middle aged groups and groups with little kids so it didnt have the typical youth hostel feel. And the staff didnt feel very inviting. Apart from those points it was excellent. Clean room, safes in the room, free bag storage, breakfast for pretty cheap. I would definitely recommend it.

Really good place to stay. Clean and safe. Location was good with tram stops and bus stops just around the corner.

A perfect accommodation, cheap price, extremely friendly staff, cleaner than any other hostel I've visited and multiple breakfast (extra five euros but worth it). Located in a peaceful area, but still close to shops and restaurants. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We stayed here for 2 nights, the beds were really comfy, but the hostel itself lacked atmosphere. The breakfast was really great, just wish it was a bit cheaper.

Reception staff were terrible! Didn't want to help or give directions..definitely need some customer service training.

It's a good hostel, but the staff aren't very helpful. I witnessed one of the male staff having a screaming argument with a guest, and even swearing at the guest. When I asked about anything including directions, it always seemed like a hassle for staff to give them. They need to stop being in a rush all the time and concentrate on better customer service and satisfaction.

Great location near a major tram line, the Van Gogh museum, and a grocery store. No real common area. This is more a hotel than a hostel. You have to pay for breakfast (5 Euros a day I believe). Rooms were cleaned daily. Staff was knowledgeable.

This is more like a hotel hostel. Nicely situated in the museum district. A walk to the city center but this is a city for strolling around in. The breakfast, not included, had many many options to start your day. This is also right next to the I Amsterdam sign if you are looking for that.
