bastante bien el hostal la verdad es muy bueno lo unico malo es que no incluye el desayuno y el staff necesita ser un poco mas gentil

Nice Hostel in a good location. Small rooms, but everything you need. Nice and new bath rooms.

Rooms were not ready at arrival. Should be ready at 2 P.M., cleaned until 4 P.M. The rest was pretty good.

Hostel is pretty good. I was trvelling with someone who was over 40, however, and upon arrival we were told that he was too old to be in a dorm room, bevause it would be "inconvenient" for any young woman in the room. This is both bullshit and not mentioned intheir email nor on the hostels.com site where I looked up the place. I argued and they finally put him and his partner into a private 2 bed with no extra charge, but I am really unhappy about the experience.

great hostel, absolutely beautiful and very very clean. Ensuite bathrooms make you feel like you are in a hotel room. Location was very easy to get to, and right in front of the Van Gogh Museum. Highly recommend! Will not be disapointed. Beds were very comfortable, loved the heavy cover, reminded me of my duvet at home.

The person who checked us in was very abrupt and seemed annoyed. She didn't tell us anything: about check out, towels/bedding, breakfast, internet, or even where to find our room. We were left to figure it all out for ourselves. Other than that, the hostel isn't bad and it's in a great location.

Great location to see the museums but a little far from city centre. The room was excellently clean with pin code lockers!! You can print your tickets for free! Free tea and coffee all day would be nice and a self cater kitchen would make this place amazing!

Great hostel, bathrooms in each suite hairdryer included right next to the Van Gogh Museum which was great. The breakfasts are totally worth the 5 euros since it's unlimited food.

I was here for one night and it was perfect for my stay (just needed a place to crash). No lockers in the room but there was a safe for each bed in the dorm which was great. Beds were comfortable and a really good bathroom for a hostel. If you're looking to socialise, find somewhere else. But its a quiet, comfortable hostel in a good location. Staff were also very helpful.

The hostel was good and clean. On the other, the staff could learn little bit more about friendliness

Good comfortable rooms, almost like a hotel. Close to a large supermarket. Tram line within a few mins walk. Then 15mins to central train station and all the sites of Amsterdam. Easy walk into Amsterdam. 3min walk to Van Gogh museum! - Negatives, no kitchen for cooking, only a microwave and fridge, staff had a bit of attitude.

Among the list of the hostels in Amsterdam I think it's the best value for money. There's no classic kitchen but there is a microwave and fridges in the dining area. Location is perfect - close to several museums and 30 min walk to the historical center and Red Light district. I haven't used a transport at all, except going to a distantly located Heineken Music Hall for a concert. The hostel was very clean and modern. Dining area is a nice place to make new friends.

This is a hotel but converted some rooms into dorms. I would have given full marks for its cleanliness n loveliness but the marks were all pulled down by their unfriendly, unwilling, unhelpful, and not bothered staff. They somehow gave better treatment to their customers staying in the "hotel" part but gave zero service to those staying in the "hostel" part. Which, IF THE STAFF HAVE BRAINS to calculate, they get more profits from the "Hostels" part so why the discrimination? Really poor staff

Staff were the rudest out of any of the dozens of hostels I've stayed at. Too bad, because the facilities and location are quite nice. Wouldn't stay there again based on the negative interactions I had with the staff.

Staff created a very negative first impression. Numerous guests had the same negative experience. Witnessed the Asian gentleman behind the counter being rude to multiple guests; not welcoming at all.

The location was OK, but the character of this hostel was just off.
