This hostel was immaculate as far as cleanliness goes. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of outlets. The room had its own bathroom, which was great, and the shower was very nice. The 5 euro breakfast was great! Not the best location if you want to easily wander home drunk from Leidseplein. Staff was quite cold and seemed eager to get you away from their front desk and on your merry way. You will hear the kids playing outside from the nearby school. Overall, a very nice hostel.

The hostel is near the Van Gogh Museum and close to a center place where you can find coffee shop, restaurant and shopping places. But you aren't close to the central station neither the red light (but that is alright like this!). The hostel is new, very clean and calm, maybe too quiet. There is no atmosphere in the hostel but it's alright too, we have a lot to do in the city! Employees at the front desk can't help you if you need help and they are not nice at all.

More like hotel, less like a hostel. But very very nice place, wonderful bathrooms and good(ish) location. Great for the money (only 17 euro per bed in an 8 person dorm).

I liked because it's nice and quiet. If you want to go downtown, you can either do it by walk (for those who likes walking thru the cities to have a better sense of the whole picture), or you can just grab yourself a tram, wich is very useful if you're going to a shopping spree or someting. And because it's away from the crowds of the city center, you can just relax outside and walk thru the vondelspark or just sit nearby and enjoy amsterdam's life. The staff was very professional and attentive.

'Staff' would have been excellent but for one staff member who wasn't particularly helpful with directions.

Very good hostel! I recommend it! Breakfast is not included, you have to pay 5 euros for that, but its a very good breakfast though. I think it worths the price. It is clean, rooms, beds and bathrooms are good also.
