I don't think the location could have gotten any better. It was about a ten minute walk from the train station, on the street right next to major shops, right across from a gelateria and about a ten minute walk to major sights. The hostel itself was very clean, comfortable beds and sheets, and clean bathrooms. Only thing I didn't like about the hostel-only one key per room. So if you were with 5 ppl in one room, you had to return at the same time to get in.

The towels were not free (the listing on Hostelworld said they were), the shower flooded and too many people shared one tiny bathroom. The location is unparalleled, but it could use some decorations or just general sprucing up. Felt very cold and plain.

The location was excellent, but that's about as much as I can say in favor of this hostel. The wifi was non-existent, there was no common room, no window in my room, and for all I knew I could have been the only person staying there. It could use some serious decorations, better signage outside, and a more facilitation for social interaction.

I think that everything was ok. Cant complain... The staff was very nice, he spoke my language, , the place was very quiet, except the noise coming from out side in the morning.

Good location, but the hostel is on the 4th floor and the lift seems not working so well, it's a quiet place, and very good choice for the low price hostel.

The location and character of this little tucked-away hostel was awesome. The staff were so very accommodating. And the price was more than reasonable!

Perfect location and good price. Some of the beds were really bad and sometimes the toiletpaper was finished. If you work on that it will be PERFECT!

The location is perfect and it's a good value for the price, I think. There's definitely not the sense of community you get with other hostels and the owner is really never around to answer questions, but it's clean and comfortable and relatively cheap. Note on WiFi - they're not kidding when they say it only works in the lobby. It really only works in one square foot of the lobby...

One shared bath for 6 rooms that had no hot water. The luggage storage that was offered was sitting out in the middle of the lobby. Beds were okay and location is pretty close to main train station.

Disgusting! Do not stay in room 3 on 6th floor. It's infested with bed bugs & mosquitos. After the first 2 nights there one friend had 30+ mosquito bites, my 2nd friend counted 24 mosquito bites and a number of bed bug bites, and I had over 20 bed bug bites on my hands. Landlord denied that there were bugs and blamed us for opening the window (which we'd left shut b/c of all the mosquitos). I'm now frantically washing all my items and hoping that I didn't bring them back home with me.

The room was proper, but just one toilet for all the rooms. Bed was really comfortable but lot of noises during the night and early morning. You must check out before 10 AM.

Perfect location. A safe place to sleep. No common space to meet people. You have to wait in line to use the one bathroom. I woke up with several bug bites.

They might be some bed bugs. The toilet was clean and we were given maps by the staffs, who told us an excellent restaurant to dine in. Affordable and very great. It was really near to the II duomo and other attractions. Overall is not bad.

Hostel Veronique is located near Piazza della Signoria, where museums and other tourist spots are concentrated there. The day of our arrival, beds had not yet been tidied up, horrible! While 6 rooms have to share 1 public bathroom so that long queue is a must during morning. WIFI connection is SUPER bad and we were connected by other WIFI nearby, signal was weak and we had to get out from our hostel. If you are not planning to stay all day in hostel and looking for budget, you can choose it.

Overall the location was excellent. Pretty close to the train station. 2 minutes away from the Duomo and a ton of shops and places to eat. The room was fine. The bathroom situation was not great. There was only one bathroom for the whole hostel with one shower and toilet. No soap or towels were provided. Also, each room only had one key. It was also unclear how to contact the owner of the hostel to pay for towels (3 euro). If you are concerned about price and location, then it was fine.

Served its purpose but were made to feel unwelcome by the man we dealt with during our stay. He seemed unhappy to be helping us, especially evident when we inquired about using the Wifi.

Recommended. Very good location, (only problem with this is very very noisy out the window until late at night & then early in the morning with markets setting up - but I can deal with this given the convenience of the location). Clean, good sized room & comfortable bed. My only complaint is that on our floor there was one bathroom (toilet/shower/basin all in the one room) for about 6-7 rooms (each with at least 2 up to 6 beds) so when it was full, there was a very very long wait to use it.
