It was great location, very safe, clean, and nice. Our room was a little loud sometimes you could hear people from the street outside, but otherwise it was awesome! I loved how close it was to everything! also it was great that there were two bathrooms, so even though we had to share there was more than one bathroom!

You get what you pay for. Good things: price/quality; location. Things to improve: just one bathroom for more than one room (so you may have to share it with lots of people that doesn't really care about leaving the bathroom clean); weird smell in entrance. Anyhow, perfect place to stay, since you spend almost all day sightseeing the beautiful city. Florence pays off.

The hostel was very below for what we wich. Sadly the pictures does not shows the reality. The cleanliness of the hostel was terrible. One of the toillets broke during our stay there. Was a cheap hostel for Florence, but don't worth the money.

Me and my girlfriend were looking for a cheap private room in Florence and found this awful hostel. We hated it. The building is very old and the rooms were not clean when we checked in. The floor was wet and the only light that worked in the room was from a small lamp. Even though we asked for a double room, the beds were separate and the owner asked us to put them together, but they have different heights and was impossible to sleep together. Booking this hostel was a great mistake.

A current or some kind of protection for the bathrooms would be nice. Also, thicker walls, but I don't think that is going to be a manageable change.

Once we get to the hostel, we went with one friend that help us with the luggage. my friend was trapped in the lift because the receptionist does not allow her to get to the floor until she tell him how the guy was, he was very agresive and not kind at all, the room was ok, but the bathrooms were not clean and it was very hard to flush the toilet. fortunately we stay only 2 nights, the guy from reception never apologise for the bad treatment we received

Location is the only good thing. Flush was not working so the bathroom was very filthy. Guests had no choice but to still use it, or else queue for the only remaining one. Drunk guys were singing at 5am in the morning just outside our room and disturbing our sleep. Not sure if they were residents. No sign whatsoever to identify the hostel except for a 2x3 inch label outside the door.

Nice place, only downfall was that I had booked for a twin and when we arrived we were given a double. When we mentioned this the man told us just that there was no twin available, but didn't seem very apologetic. It was quite annoying as we had booked a twin for a reason, but besides that everything was fine, room was spacious and the location was really central

The hostel provided really nice 3 bed private at an amazinh price and was located in a nice place. The downside being that the location is a bit hard to find and that the owner sometimes disappears and doesnt come back till checkout.

It was easy to find. When we got there a women rushed to attend to us and she gave us a map and gave us suggestions on where to go by priority. She was wonderful- Good customer service! She showed us to our room which was on the same floor as the tiny reception desk and we (2 of us) had a queen sized bed and a twin one. So, we had extra bed room! There were 2 showers which were fair. There was wifi. No kitchen to cook or heat up food. The window view was wonderful. I would defiantly stay again!

Great location. Free wifi. Don't expect too much things. But here is a good choice to rest after an intensive day. Also it is right in city center so outside is kind of noisy but inside of the hostel is really silent.

Hostel Veronique had an amazing location, less than a ten minutes walk from every major attraction in Florence. It felt safe enough although sometimes the front door to the building was left open, but never to the actual hostel or our room. It was quiet. Staff was friendly enough but I can't speak too much to this because we didn't have any questions or complaints. The room was really cute and had a nice view. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner but was doable. Really cheap--good value!

The location is great. We were in a room without bathroom so we had to go one floor upstairs, youget used to it but it's not very comfortably. Still is a good price for the city.
