We stayed only for one night in a 6 bed private and the room was HUGE! Its right in the centre of Florence - a really good value for your money. Not a place to meet people because there is no common room, but if that's not a problem I definetly recommend it.

Veronique is the cheapest hostel in the Florence but not more than t,his. It was so dirty the bed was broken. Even the manager of the hostel that we could not see ever, does not do anything. If we were not a 6 people group and did not get an 6 people room, I would not spend time there.

If there could be night security and more bathrooms that would be nice. There was a bad smell in the room but I think it was from outside. The staff was great and very helpful and friendly! Great location too!

The hostel was in a great part of town, but it was rather sparse. One of the two toilettes wouldn't flush, and the walls were paper thin. There was no cleaning service, and there was rarely an employee there.

Quite a walk from the central train station in Florence if you\'re dragging luggages and carrying backpacks, however, still manageable. The problem wasn\'t in finding the street but finding the unit number. Because the unit numbers in Florence have a red/blue/black system, which is confusing and doesn\'t run consecutively, we took a while to realize we had past the unit. Overall, nice, clean environment with clean sheets and bedroom, but one bathroom to share with 14 people is too much.

This was the most expensive hostel we stayed at in Italy (and we had stayed in many places, including Venice and Rome!) 2 bathrooms for 25ish people is not enough. The room was cold, the door was painted over as it was glass so still let the light from the hallway through. No atmosphere in the place at all as there is no where to socialise and meet other people. There are threatening signs on the wall telling you in you're not quiet after 11 the will call the police; not friendly at all!

The only positive aspects were location and free wifi. Basic commodities were left, in the bathroom, for example. The bathroom had not been washed since a long time ago. Too much noise at night. The bell rang many times during the night and the morning. Threatening pictures on the walls everywhere (if you do not follow my rules, I will call the police...) The pictures from the web page do not match with the reality. There was no 24h reception, Definitely very poor value for money

We reached hotel at 10:40 am but was blamed by the manager "you selected to arrive at 10:00 am. Why are you late?" I explained because it was hard to find you hotel in the dark and shaded location. When we first came to our room, I saw the warning "Be qiuet, or we call the police!" I asked myself, will being noisy will offend the Italian law?! And then, we tried to turn on the light, but not electricity. The room had flies and also noisy, due to thin walls.

Not a cosy hostel in any way - it is a place to sleep in the heart of Firenze, nothing more. We had a private room and shared the 1 bathroom with ~8 others - that sucked. Under our bed lay a mountain of dust, and as someone else has mentioned, we got bites while there. Must have been from the bed, not very nice. But again this is PRIME location for little money, just do not expect low comfort level.

The owner was very kind in helping us, it\'s ok if you need a place where to sleep quite cheap. In our floor there was only a bathroom for 4 rooms and it was a problem to use it. The location is great, close to Piazza Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio and Ponte Vecchio.

There was a lot of dust and dirt on the floors and under the beds. The beds themselves were very comfortable. It would be nice to have lightening on the stairs, or to be instructed on where the light switch is.

Rooms were really clean! Bathrooms were also well maintained. Hostel is so close to the city centre and many markets where there are always lots of things happening. Location was definitely the best part! Hostel is a little tricky to find at first though..directions from hostel could be improved. Sometimes hard to get time in the shower with 20+ people sharing two showers. Other than that, we had a great stay!

It was not so nice to be around 20 people and share on toilet+bathroom. It should also be towels awailable! It was not so nice to come there and not be able to take a shower.

They could do a better job in cleaning the bathrooms - really stinky! The hostel had a funky smell. Other than that - basic bed but great location.
