Nice staff, very helpful. Super informal environment, ideal to meet people to hang out on boat tours all around Arraial do Cabo. Cleanliness depends on the dudes you are sharing your dorm with. Nice common lounges. Arraial is extremely small, so the location is almost irrelevant. You can do anything on foot basically.

the hostel was nice and even if not that close to the beaches, the fact that Arraial do Cabo is a small town, the walking distances are very short on the negative side, the room had a weird smell inside and the bathroom was awful, it completely stank

Very nice hostel. It's location might be the weak point, but the town is small enough to just walk around (about ~10 blocks from the center or the beaches; but the town is not bigger than 10 blocks). Has a nice pool, a nice common area. Be sure to get A/C if you go in summer

No PC, no Maps, no locked room and a bit noisy.

Nice hostel! Good facilities, a good pool and a lot of common areas. Unfortunately it was emply, few traveleres to meet up. Anyway, I recommend it.

I liked the infrustructure of the hostel, it´s really cool, although could be done so much more. The location is pretty good, a bit distant from the station, but a pretty quiet place which is good. What I lacked was the general atmosphere and more attention from the staff. But very positive in general.

Very helpful staff, especially the guy from Chile who struggled to understand my thick Irish accent.

Very charming hostel. I went there out of season, so we where not many guests there, but the atmosphere was extremely pleasent. The rooms where very nice and the common area extremely charming. Its a 15 minute pleasent walk to beach and store.

I had such a great time at Hostel Villas Boas at Arraial. The hostel is close do Angel's Beach,a fisher's beach with such a nice view, but is still close to all the greatest beachs in the city(especially the stove beach, the most amazing view I've ever seen). Also the staff is really attencious and easygoing. The hostel is still such a great space to meet new people from all around the world and also the facilities are really comfortable and clean.

This hostel felt like a diamond in the rough: so beautiful and laid back, it barely felt like a hostel. The short 10-15 minute walk to the beach was no problem: if you'd prefer, stay closer to the beach, but youll pay more. The biggest downside was that lockers are not available for every guest, only in some rooms. To me, this is a serious problem. Ask for one in advance and stay here. You won't be disappointed!

It's not so close to the beach. You have to walk kinda of 15, 20 min! But structure is really nice. It's new and organized. Luanda and Bráulio were easygoing, helpful with us.

We stayed in the hostel for just one night, and we regret we did not stay any longer. What a nice hostel this was. The rooms were centered around a courtyard, and if was you were staying in the jungle. The rooms are clean, breakfast was good, helpfull staff. Only downside was the long walks to the beach. The hostel was on the edge of town, so the beaches are a 15 minutes walk. But this should not let you down. The beaches and hostel are worth the money!

The staff arranged an amazing boat tour to white beaches and turquoise waters and told us which beach to go to and watch the sunset. Food is delicious and hostel is beautiful. Coffee all day! There was a small leak near the balcony of our room but we didn't really care because we were on our way to scuba dive! Arraial do Cabo is a must and this hostel makes it easy and enjoyable to visit.

Staff is awesome!!! Very good hostel! Bathroom cleanliness should be better.

The hostel is really good, well located between two very nice beaches and with easy access to the shops and town center. The only thing that let them down was that some mornings there was no water in the rooms and bathrooms. But, overall, I recommend the hostel

Nice hostel, but quite far away from anything and a bit of a walk to get anywhere. If you are ordering a cab with them, make sure you confirm the booking before it is due, as we nearly missed our bus because they forgot to order our cab. Rooms are basic, but clean and secure.
