We love it here. It's a great atmosphere and we always feel so taken care of. Practice your Arabic 'thank you', you'll be saying it a lot. Also, sleeping and hanging out up on the terrace is the best. Only problem with Waka Waka is that you'll never want to leave.

Had a great time here. the instructions to find the hostel were pretty good apart from the fact that cafe argana on jma el fna doesn't exist anymore. the showers work, the staff are useful- especially mohammed the guy who works in the kitchen- he deserves a medal. a good crowd seem to pass through and we met lots of nice people.

we had an awesome time in this hostel, the atmosphere is very tipical and the people are friendly and helpful. you can spend time in the loby or on the terrace drinking tea and relaxing. if u need anything you can ask to the guys who work there (they speak english) and they will explain and help you planning your visit to the city and to the places you are interested in. we loved the breakfast and the tipical mint tea! =)

We stayed for 3 nights there, and on the first one we didn´t have ventilator so was a bit hard to sleep but when we arrived from the desert we asked Rachid who is REALLY friendly and he gave us one and after that any bad impression was gone. It´s a simple hostel, but you feel at home all the thime. Achmed was also and expectional staff! The hostel was very clean and well locate, friendly staff. I would suggest better beds only as they are not so confy but in general the experience was amazing!

Excellent staff, great service from all the people working there, pricess are convenient, but the hostel needs more investment and to seek for the security of the bookers since they arrive cause the city is dangerous and people abuse if you get lost and extortionate you. Needs to work on the Internet.

Amazing stay!! Perfect for meeting amazing people, seeing an amazing city, and having an amazing time in Marrakesh. Mohammed brings you tea regularly and really makes you feel like a sultan. It is a really radical hostel right next to the Djeema. Plus, about 2-5pm, it is unbelievably hot, so there is an amazing rooftop terrace at this hostel that is so perfect for the heat. Definitely recommend for solo travellers or the young because the facilities aren't the best but the people are!

Definitely enjoyed the experience a lot. Thanks guys! The only thing was finding it the first day. It'd be great to have a few more instructions where it is exactly (e.g. pictures).

Very friendly, as soon as we arrived they sat us down, talked us through a map and some of the tourist pitfalls to avoid and generally made us feel very welcome. They also arranged for our trip to Merzouga to see the desert which was very good. Beds can be a little short if you are tall! But all in all the friendliness and central position in town massively outweigh that small discomfort.

Loved staying here!!! Too bad I was only here for three days/two nights which is nowhere near enough time to stay. Staff was courteous and helpful the entire time, made sure I was comfortable and went above and beyond the call of duty.

Waka Waka was great! The directions were very precise in a city which can be a nightmare to navigate. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside was very warm and welcoming. The staff was extremely helpful and gave us tea every time we entered the hostel. They gave us advice about how to navigate and about some of what to expect in Marrakech as well as some must see spots. Definitely a good value for your money!

I had a great time at Waka Waka. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, especially Joad, and they helped make a great atmosphere inside the hostel. It was always clean and I really liked the roof terrace. This is the best value for money hostel I´ve stayed at.
