It was really nice, but they got bedbugs in some rooms.

Full of bed bugs. Staff charging whatever price they want for a bed. 45 dihram for everyone in the room except me who paid 60. Excellent place toeet people. Just make sure you haggle with the staff for prices

Strange environment, beds in public areas. BED BUGS!! Many girls woke up with them. I am afraid of all the things I´ve brought home, hopefully dídn´t get them on anything. Also the staff spoke little English - a very Kumbaya environment. They wanted us to relax and wait awhile and drink tea while they prepared our room after arrival, we were already arriving several hours late due to a train delay, and didn´t want to sit around and wait, but we had to wait more.

No lockers but folks were honorable enough. Took me awhile to find the place because I turned left at the wrong pharmacy. Good deal for the money.

The staff make this place an awesome stay. Very chilled out atmosphere and social lounge. Easy to meet other travellers. The pillows could be a little softer...

I had my power adapter stolen while away on a desert excursion and staff did little to nothing to not only help me look for it initially but also to address theft as an issue. Other than that the stay was great but make sure you keep your valuables hidden because there are no lockers.

I stayed at Waca-Waca April24-26 and LOVED IT. It has so much character and the people are amazing! I felt very safe and like I was at home! The beds were really uncomfortable for me-but hey, that's life. If you are lost on how to get there I just googled "How do I get to Hostel Waca Waca" and I think I used the first or second link that came up, the directions are spot on! I had a great time and we were referred to go on a 2-day 1-night stay in the Atlas mountains/Sahara on camel. So wicked!

People and things in Marrakech just come to you and surprise you in a way never thought possible. So amazingly positive! All guys there - awesome. Rachid - no words to descirbe his enthusiasm for making people feel good. He also took care of anything like taxi at 5 in the morning directly in front of the door. Couldn't be more happy to stay with you for the last day of my morocco surf trip. Best regards, Nusa, Slovenia.

Waka Waka is the perfect place to stay in Marrakech. I was there a few weeks ago with a friend, and the experience was unforgettable. The staff is unbelievably friendly -- free tea all day! -- and helpful. Plus, they are incredibly understanding. Our plans changed last minute and they were nice enough to not charge us for one night, and, then, we needed to stay much longer on the day we were meant to leave, and they didn't charge us again. Plus, they make the hostel a true community feel.

Friendly staff -- you get what you pay for with accommodations, but can't beat the character: pet turtles crawling around on the roof, colorful bedspreads (the rooftop terrace room is highly recommended). Great breakfast and tea.

This place is AMAZING! If you're in Marrakech, STAY HERE! I stayed for 6 nights, and it was the highlight of my trip. I'm not sure if the reason I loved Marrakech so much was because of Waka Waka or because the city is amazing. The guys who run the place, Rashid and the quiet guy who does breakfast (he's absolutely adorable) were so accommodating and friendly. They helped us organize all of our trips, and breakfast was fresh. I met so many people here that I hope to keep in touch with! DO IT
