Excellent hostel, very friendly people that create a nice and warm atmosphere :)) Try the terrace beds, it's a unique experience to sleep outside and getting woken up by the prayers at 4am!

We stayed three nights in Hostel Waka Waka and to be honest it was the highlight of our trip which may sound bizarre to some. We didn't really enjoy Marrakesh and it's madness but Hostel Waka Waka offered excatly what we were looking for. A safe haven with charm and character. The staff were very friendly and it's full of charisma. Def would recommend it to those looking for an experience which you will never forget! Thanks Waka Waka!!

Definitely great! excellent breakfast, good wifi signal, great staff... the only bad thing I have to say is that to get to the hostel (first time) is difficult.. it would be better if there is a bigger signal. And be careful with the guys that takes you to the door of the hostel because they want a ridiculous payment!! just ring the bell when you are there and then give to them no more than 20 dhms.

Waka Waka is a nice hostel with a great and helpful staff. It is a Riad in the middle of the Medina of Marrakesh. Little bit difficult to find at the beggining but easy to remember. Anyway, there will be people to guide you there. I will definitely come back to this hostel.

Rashid and Abdul are fantastic hosts and do all they can to help. The hostel has a great vibe and is a great place to meet people. There is a free breakfast I would reccommend Waka Waka to anyone, particularly if you are travelling solo and looking to meet new people or need ideas for your trip to Morocco!

Great, cheap hostel with a great vibe and very friendly staff. It's a great place for meeting fellow travellers if you're backpacking it alone. Bathroom/showers are not great but it's definitely worth it. I very much recommende it.

It was what you paid for. The ground floor was only separated from the common room by a thin curtain, the light was on until 1am. But the staff were lovely and breakfast was good!

The guy who works here with the locks was amazing- really helpful and the right amount of friendly. The other guy who works here with the hat, I found to be overly friendly, to the point of making me uncomfortable, charged us way too much for the hammam around the corner yet assured us it was a good price- don't get it organised for you- if you just want a wash it should be only 10dhm, and was really slow at getting breakfast ready even though we insisted that we needed to go at a set time.

A very good hostel in an amazing city! Abel, Rashid and Osama work incredibly hard to ensure this hostel is a special place to stay. The atmosphere is excellent aided by the authentic tea that is always being served. Beds are a little small but that's only a minor gripe, the homely feel more than outweighs that small issue. If visiting Marrakech this is the place to experience Moroccan hospitality.

Don't usually write reviews but i had to for this place. Abdul was a champion, couldn't do any more to make your stay better. The breakfast is good, building is beautiful and in a good spot and the staff a great (but especially Abdul). I'd go back in a flash.
