A great place to stay when escaping the chaos of Marrakech. The hostel is great value for money, the free breakfast was amazing and the tea was in abundance. It was also a good place to meet new people!

Hostel Waka Waka made my experience in Marrakech. From having a traditional Moroccan breakfast to lounging on the rooftop terrace with tortoises, Waka Waka was the refuge one needs after experiencing the chaos and liveliness of the Medina. I could not more strongly recommend staying at Hostel Waka Waka.

Really good location, directly in the medina, next the the Place El-Jafna and the souk. The atmosphere is great. Nice common spaces. Rooms and bathrooms are ok, just don't expect european hostel standards.

The hostel is very cozy, makes you feel very comfortable and the staff makes you feel like if the were your friends. You feel like at home. Beautiful typical decoration and very good breakfast. It's the full package.

Staff as incredible, one of the most hospitable staffs I have encountered in all my travels. They really make you feel at hi one at Waka Waka! I would highly recommend this hostel to any traveller.

I loved this hostel. The staff are all such nice people. Unfortunately the beds are pretty uncomfortable but this seems to be a trend throughout morocco. The only thing I wouldnt recommend is the Sahara tours the offer, we did the three days and two nights expecting to be in the Sahara for at least a full day. Instead it is driving for at least 12 hours all of the three days stopping off at a bunch of places and being in the actual Sahara for about 11 hours.

The hostel was incredibly interactive and helpful with guests, they really went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable and as stress free as possible! It has a beautiful homely atmosphere, five star!!!

I very much enjoyed my time at Waka Waka. Great atmosphere, great rooftop and located in the heart of the Medina. They arrange tours of many popular places in Morocco and it also includes breakfast!

Friendly people. Bed was really hardhard and thin. And every bathroom smelled bad with anti-termite/moth ballsballs, and there was barely any warm water.

Dirty, unhelpful staff, cramped and musty rooms with no security and few (1 for an 8 dorm) outlets. One of the worst hostels i've been too.

We stayed at Hostel Waka Waka for ten nights and we felt right at home! The Hostel is beautiful, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast and very friendly staff which are more than happy to go the extra mile for you. There is a great rooftop area complete with a turtle and excursions can be organised by the hostel. The location is perfect, only 5 minutes from Jamaa el Fna, but once you are at the Hostel you feel miles away from the bustling square. We will definitely be back!

This is a pretty cool hostel! Great location - right in the heart of the Medina. The staff are super friendly, however sometimes they may be too chilled and take too long with doing their jobs. (I saw 5 guests wait an hour for reception to check them in but it was ok because they could just chill in the common area)

The shower is really bad! not joking. There is almost no cold water and no pressure. It is a little bit sad to take a shower. The staff is nice. Rooms a little bit crowned, but fine. There is one fan per room, not enough but it is something. Not great, but it is cheap. If it would not be for the shower, I could recommended regarding value for your money
