Ok, so I'm giving this a poor rating overall because that is what it is: a dive hostel. Not much character (the murals are nice) but otherwise there is no common room and you are not going to meet other travelers really unless they are in your room. The hostel was dirty too. But not excessively so. Facilities? None. Security was poor: no lockers, and they don't lock the luggage storage (open to all). That being said, it was only 8 euros a night when I went. SO cheap. So if you're easy, stay here

sorry you were disappointed Zeus rooftop common area was under construction and will be open any day now. As said in the review 8 euro a night, Zeus is a hostel for the budget traveler, other hostels offer more facilities but cost more. 20 euro plus We offer cheap central location and believe were are value for money

This hostel is a good one: we are very near of Plaka, and the acropole also. And we are just at 8 mn of the metro station. The only black point is just the fact that is in Omonia. Sometimes, this place seems really insecure.

Hot water and showers are available 24 hours a day. Unfortunately we did have a problem with our boiler for a few days, this is now repaired

Great location! City center and metro stop to airport very close. Everything walking distance from there. Somewhat dirty. You defibatly get what you pay for but I would go there again! The rooms of 4 you do not get a top sheet or a towel but the double rooms you do.

We stayed at their sister hostel - Pella Inn - as Zeus was undergoing renovations. Our stay was brilliant and we had a well-maintained room, bathroom WITH HOT WATER and a brilliant view of the Acropolis. George Zeus gives a free walking tour of the sites with time to enter them at your leisure. Extremely good value considering 'official' tours cost over Euro50...It is provided free so remember to show your appreciation!

Hostel Zeus didn't answer the door and later we saw note behind a screen saying they had moved but the taxi driver did not know where the address was. After travelling for 24 hours, extremely tired, the difficulty of trying to find it by the address that was on the website and the confirmation page, we had no where to sleep. We ended up in a very expensive hotel as that was all we could find that had vacancies. Hostel Zeus charged us for that night - not a good way to start our Greek vacation

Unfortunately, yourselves were the ONLY customers out of nearly 100 who couldn't find us, The Temp, address was a 5 min walk away. With the Mapped directions on the door to the Temp location we also sent you an Email stating that we had moved into a Temp. location with ALL the details you would need.

The staff from finlad is very friendly and helpful. No plug in the dormitory, there is only one working plug in the living room.
