Beautiful hostel 100 meters from the beach at isla holbox, the staff is friendly and the hammocks are inviting, bring plenty of mosquito repellent though.

The cheaper bungalows (like dormitories) had just a sand floor, which i woudln\'t like in my room. But we had luckily another which was comfortable and very clean. The kitchen is all the time very clean, but we had a little struggle after a maid cleaned the fridge. It wasn\'t necessary to write your name and date on your things, so she just threw away what she thaught wasn\'t good anymore. 2min to the beach!

It was okey, the apartment we stayed in was dark and not so cozy. We had the apartment downstairs, I guess it would have been better upstairs where they had a balcony. We felt like you didn't long to go "home" to the apartment. The kitchen wasn't good, there wasn't proper things to cook with at all. However, the owners seemed very nice and the area that the hostal was on was really nice! I wouldn't rent the apartment again, but I would like to stay in the Cabanas instead.

Hi, the apartment does not belong to the hostel and that was something you already knew before coming. I don't agree with your description and I don't understand why you did not tell me once you were here... Why do people wait to go home to tell what they did not feel comfortable with? If you would have told me I could have done something for you to make you happy. Now is kind of difficult, don't you think so? The fact that you did not have upstairs is because it was already booked, not because I did not want to give it to you. The kitchen you knew it was a kitchenette and additionally Sascia told you that you could also use all the services of the hostel, included the fully equipped kitchen we provide. She told you as well that whatever you would need just pass by and we would take care of it. You never came so for us was everything fine. We were only 50 meters away, not too far even for people on holiday :-) Anyway thanks for the comment. I am sure you had a great time in Holbox. Take care, David & Sascia

The bar is awesome! Best mojitos on the island..maybe one of the best in the world! Staff was the best, like being home..but in a tropical paradise! Should provide soap in the bathroom.

The hostel is a great place, it certainly personalized my Holbox experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful - even during the time when I wasn´t accomodated in Ida y Vuelta. The place has lot to offer, cool hammock corner, cozy kitchen and for extra money an excellent breakfast service. Ida y Vuelta is a kind of magic, you meet a lot of intriguing people there. And the mojitos at the bar: extraordinary!

Nice simple set of bungalows, a little further from the centre of town. There's a common, well-equipped kitchen, lots of hammocks (including inside some bungalows), free wifi & a great community feeling. The floor of my bungalow was fine sand, which was swept & raked each day NOTE: taxi drivers at the dock may tell you that the hostel is really close or even closed in a subtle refusal to take you there. This is because they demand a commission from hotels and the owner will not pay them this.Crooks!
