Loved this hostel! Excellent location, very easy walk to the main sights and has a GREAT view because its on a hill. Everything was very clean, and the family that owns it is very nice. Really a great value, I would recommend to everyone.

It's not only a beautiful hostel, it's a real Sarajevo experience! One of the best places I've ever stayed at! Do not miss the emotional and unique war tour http://www.hostelworld.com/tours/bosnia-and-herzegovina/sarajevo/interactive-historical-war-tour/12252 and the interesting and well organized (small groups!!) city tour! http://www.hostelworld.com/tours/bosnia-and-herzegovina/sarajevo/interactive-city-tour/12253

This place was awesome. Best hostel experience I've had yet. The hostel is quiet, the facilities are good, and the location is great. If you're visiting Sarajevo, do not stay anywhere else! Also, be sure to take Arijan's war tour. It's an experience you'll never forget.

I'm so glad I stayed here, thanks!

Nice hostel in excellent location close to the old bazaar. Quiet neighbourhood and wonderful view over the city. Rating is based on international standard as this was the only hostel I stayed in Sarajevo. The walking instructions work - but the stairs are not only "old", they are full of nettles and look like they haven't been used for ten years. Persevere and you'll find the hostel at the top of the stairs. Or then you can walk around the house counterclockwise and take the easy way.

Had a great stay. Jasmin and Julia offer their guests a very warm welcome in their family-run hostel. Even made a daytrip with their son to the ski area and they were very helpful in getting me to the airport early in the morning. Memories of the guided tour to the trenches will always stay with me. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Sarajevo!

Highly recommended for anyone with an interest in the history of the city, especially its recent history. The owner Jasmin is very flexible, and the facilities are modern and clean, with a common room with free coffee / tea, and use of the kitchen facilities. The old town center is a 3-5 minute walk, and the common room has possibly the best view of Sarajevo. Well worth the money, as well as for Jasmin's accounts of his experiences during the 1990s.

STAY HERE, YOU WON’T REGRET IT! One of the coziest, homiest hostels I’ve ever stayed in – I didn’t want to leave! Beds are comfortable, room is well-lit and cheery, and the owners are not exaggerating when they say the common room has the best view of the city. Location very safe and in close walking distance to the sights. Quiet residential area, which means a great sleep. WiFi worked well. Small kitchenette perfect for cooking/making tea. Heard great things about the owner’s tour.

Part of a the owning family's house, they're friendly and helpful. I didn't get to go on the war tour as it's hard to get the minimum 3 people in the off season but that meant I got a whole 9 room hostel to myself. Great view of the national library from the lounge area and a short walk to old town. Not a party hostel as it's a family home so you need to be quiet at night, but otherwise a great place to get some rest.

SA was a fantastic way to see Sarajevo and stay with such lovely and welcoming people. The owners are very knowledgeable and willing to share their love of Sarajevo with anyone who is interested and also offer a comfortable place to stay which is very central but away from all the noise. Also has the most amazing view of the library at night. Definitely stay here!

Absolutely perfect little hostel! Beds are comfortable, showers are good, you have everything you need. The place is family-run & definitely a more relaxed atmosphere (not a party hostel). Yasmin runs a war tour up in the mountains that is absolutely incredible. I would say it's definitely a "must" if you stay in Sarajevo. He is open & honest & takes you directly to where he fought on the frontlines & really tries to give his guests a deeper understanding of the war. Eye-opening experience!
