No check in after 22 where the last bus comes at 24. Very poor security- we could get in at 3am with help of locals. The owner (Angela) is rude, disorganized (we had to swap rooms few times), shouted at guests and her staff in front of everybody. She lies to you that there is only one kite school to get commission. And kite school recommended by her is not good. Place full of flies which are very annoying but nothing beats Angela, she will make your stay miserable, ohh and it is smelly there.

Friendly place - good for meeting fellow backpackers. The breakfast was average, but absolutely covered in flies. The weather cannot be blamed as other places I stayed in Jeri did not have this issue. Place could generally be alot cleaner. Private rooms good value. Dorms cramped and 1 bathroom between about 10. The staff/volunteers were friendly but lacked local knowledge that the owner could have passed on. If you don't need somewhere sociable, there are better value pousadas in Jeri.

If you are looking for an intimate hostel where you get to know everybody and make new friends within a day, look no further. Casa Coco Verde is a rather small hostel with a family atmosphere. In the morning you meet everybody while having an awesome breakfast. During the day you can relax in the lush green garden and chill in the hammocks or try mastering the slack line. In the evening people cook together in the communal kitchen or organize barbecues. Angela can arrange transport and tours and

If you are a backpacker, this is THE place to stay in Jericoacoara. The atmosphere is perfect and the place small enough to meet a lot of other people. I had booked for 3 days and ended up staying almost 2 weeks in this hostel. The breakfast (with pancakes !) is amazing and you have the possibility to cook in the small kitchen. Would definitely recommand this place.

I stayed in this hostel for 2 weeks in September. Great location close to the beach and bars but quiet during the night. Very clean and comfortable rooms with hot showers. This hostel has a great atmosphere with various hang-out areas with hammocks and a spacious kitchen and breakfast area, which are great for meeting other travellers! Very good breakfast too!! Thank you Angela for a lovely stay at Casa Coco Verde!

Angela, the hostel owner, has travelled throughout the world for 1,5 years and stopped her journey in Jeri. She might have passed for several hostels before opening her own and she knows how to make it pleasant for backpackers. Complete breakfast with pancakes and tapiocas, hammocks underneath a gigantic mango tree in the communal area, bathrooms cleaned up from the beach sand every day. Located in a quiet street in crowded Jeri by the night, I totally recommend it.

A very cool place to hang out under the mango tree and meet other travellers to explore Jeri and the surrounding areas. Dormitories are nice and cool, great breakfast, theres a great communal kitchen and a good barbeque to cook on. Close to everything you need, and a very comfortable, friendly atmosphere. I want to go back!

If you are a backpacker, this is your hostel. Dont waste your time searching for pousadas. Few steps to the beach and big dune where you can see the sunset ;) The staff (Angela) is the best.

It's a very relaxed and welcoming place. The people who were there were very nice. The owner, Angela, makes sure everything is perfect during your stay: horseback rides, kitesurfing, best places to eat and to go out, and whatever else you need! Do not miss the sunset from the dunes!

Had a great time at Casa Coco Verde! The atmosphere here is really chilled. Love the hammocks in the garden and the sand dune to watch the sunset is at the end of the street. Great breakfast too. Angela, the owner is really cool. She's organising horseback riding. Was a lot of fun! Definitely recomand it!

Friendly and helpful owner with good sized dorm rooms but a lack of comfortable seating communal areas especially in the rain.

Great location, close to the beach and bars. Very friendly staff, always ready to help and even party with you on occasion. Very clean and comfortable rooms. We met lots of other great travellers. Very good hammock/communal area which was an ideal place for a nice chat. No matter how bad the hang over is, it'll always be cured by the gigantic casa verde breakfast.

I was here for 3 weeks. I felt secure; there are lockers available for extra caution. It's near the beach and quiet, but a bit further from the main part of town. The manager is helpful and can arrange tours and activities. CCV hosts various different types of people, so you'll meet people you like. Overall it is clean. The outdoor space feels smaller than it looks. While a great value, book early; it can get very crowded and you may only get a mattress on the floor. Very good breakfast.
