Casa coco verde is everything a great hostel should be. As an independent traveller I always like to find hostels in which I can meet people from all around the world and casa coca verde was perfect for this. The Caipirinhia nights were also a great way to get to know and and socialise with other guests. It is also in a great location just minutes walk from the beach and main street. Thanks for a great stay, can't wait to come back!

I had a really lovely stay here, the hostel is really close to the beach and the main street. I particularly loved the caipirinha nights as it was a great way to get to know everyone.

Great hostel, easy to make contact with others! I travelled on my own, but the first day I already met some others. The breakfast is good, however it starts quite late (8.30 am). it is close to the main street of Jeri (although there are plenty of hostels that are closer as well) and the owner is very helpful. She can help you with anything (arranging transport, kite lessons, problems in the room) and also the volunteers were very very nice! I would definitely go back to this hostel.

This Hostel was amazing and a lovely part on our big trip along the coast. We were 3 Guys and stood in one of the private apartements. It had 2 rooms, a georges balcony and a small kitchen. The Atmosphere was so tranquil, i think because the staff just loved working there. They could speak any language - even german :) But the very best was the breakfast as it was a complete european Brakefast and not as plain as wat we used to get on other pousadas. A we-will-come-back for sure! Thank you!

We are a young couple, working and traveling in South America. Casa Coco Verde was perfect for us! The place has several places to work or chill out and to meet other travellers. Angelas remarkable breakfast buffet offers a lot of different treats and is more than enough...perfect to start an efficient day! We had a really nice time at Coco Verde. We ended up staying much longer than planned and enjoyed our free time with kite surf lessons and delicious Caipirinha & BBQ nights. BIG THX

Alles Top!

Coco verde was a super nice experience in Jericoacoara. I really recomend you to go there if you want to chill, sleep well or talk to other intermational travelers, make caipirinhas or a meal. You really feel yourself at home! Angela and the crew were very sweet ! The breakfast and the cleaning part was perfect. This is the real concept of was a hostel has to be!

I had an awesome time at Casa Coco Verde. It was a really fun hostel to stay at because they're were always cool guests to hang with and the staff were great! Originally I only booked to stay for one night, but I ended up staying a few more because I just loved Jeri. Thanks Angela and the crew! See you next time for some more Caipirinhas!

Large and quiet (if wind in the palm trees is not considered as noise) rooms, Very good atmosphere. Pousada manager Angela takes very much care of the well being of the visitors. Warm atmosphere thanks to breakfast in common with people from everywhere. Be aware that there is no air conditionning but efficient natural ventilation and fans. The rooms with many wooden parts and curved balconies in front of a garden with a variety of trees creates a peaceful atmosphere well adapted to rest.

Miguel.

If we would know what should be better, we would like to improve it but the review does not give an information about the necessary improvements. It would be great if we receive reviews with an information about what exactly we should have done to make your stay more enjoyable. :)

The hostel was nice, with many backpackers around. The hostel owner was not that nice. We booked a minivan from Fortaleza to Jeri, and she cancelled it night before at 10 pm, she thought we would not make it in time (we would have easily made it). We got stuck in Fortaleza for half a day. When we told her about this, she didn't even listen. Angela (the owner) was mostly away. There was always someone, but they could not help you because they had to call Angela and then she didn't show up.

This guest expected the minivan (incl.all passengers) to wait if she won't make it in time which is impossible for a travel agency with a fixed time table. Because of this, the travel agency didn't block the seats for her which was NOT the hostels fault. Surprisingly, even hostel owner have a private life and don´t stuck 24 hours in their property. Therefore we have our staff to help and so far we receive a great feedback from our guests.

We stayed 4 days in a double room. It was big and clean. The ambiance was excellent in the hostel. The breakfast is very nice and the kitchen a bit small when a lot of guest are here. The gaz cooker is a bit old, heat slowly and the dishes get black (and your hands also). Some caïpirinha nights for only 10 reals are organized very regularly.... so cool and so good! We left because we found a double room way cheaper at next hostel...

Jeri is such an amazing magical place, we initially Intended on staying 4 nights but stayed for ever a week!! Casacoco verde is a great hostel to meet like minded travellers and Jeri is such a small town everything is close. The buggy tours, kiteboarding school and transfers organised through the hostel were excellent and are highly recomended. We organised our own barbeque nights to coincide with the caiprirnha nights which was a lot of fun

This hostel was really bad. One of the worst ive stayed in. No security, anyone can just walk in because no one locks the gate. The staff are non existent most of the time, expect no help. Many people were constantly moved rooms because the lady who manages it seemed to have no idea resulting in a mass exodus out of the hostel. The breakfast was poor. Not the best location, dark walk home at night. The rooms were really small and beds squashed together to make more money. Would not recommend

Angela is very nice and helpful, but as in other places 'we can arrange for you' basically means 'this is where you should go to ask'. Good breakfast, one morning tapioca was even offered. Private room was very spacious, dorm was a bit cramped (as dorms usually are) and subject to the noise from people sitting outside late into the night to chat and play cards.
