The place is perfect: absolutely central to the historic city (You have a perfect sight from the eating place to the city and the mountains) but in same time absolutely calm- at the end of a small road, beside a green valley, with birds around - a wonderfull place! Nice atmosphere, Staff is very friendly, understands english, very good and rich breakfast :-) rooms are very small, shower and toilets are very closely spaced (you can't turn yourself) , matress too soft. :-( I would come back !

Definitively the worst hostel I've ever been. The bunk bed was old and swung so much that I had to sleep on the floor. The room was filthy, with cobwebs and dusty under the bed. My boyfriend had a crisis of sneezing and we could not stay in the room. Also the bathrooms were very dirty and stinky, smelled pee all the time. Finally, someone came in our room (which was locked with key) while we were out, I noticed that some things had been moved. PT: Sujo, inseguro, péssimo, não recomendo!!

Very nice hostel with friendly staff and a really awesome breakfast! The owner also made us some traditional Maneira food during our stay. It's really close to town (a bit of a hill to conquer) and very easy to access. The accommodation is basic, but exactly what you need when you are exploring a town like Ouro Preto!

Perfect location: less than 5 min walk from the bus station and 10 min walk from the center. Amazing view during breakfast. Nice people.
