Very good location, very tidy. Reasonable breakfast. All in all, good value for money.
Everything was pretty good! Very clean, organized, and new! Breakfast was poor, only toasts, cake and coffe with milk. The staff was a little bit lazy during breakfast time, they were chatting in the kitchen while clients were waiting at the reception to check out
Clean and modern, with heating and air conditioning. Located a few blocks from the old part of town on a quiet street opposite the Radisson Hotel and Casino. It was a bit noisy one night because of soccer fans from Montevideo celebrating their victory, but the atmosphere was very friendly. Lockers plus a separate safe for wallets and passports. Only one public computer, but there didn't seem to be much demand.
Really nice hostel in a great location near the old area. The hostel is more like a hotel then a hostel. Really clean and nice breakie. Had to give the staff an average as they didn't speak English and although I'm learning spanish I'm still not great. Also atmosphere an average as we went out of season so it was empty but would be better in summer.
Nice hostel! Not much to complain about other than the shower area got pretty wet.
Excellent location- 2 mins was from Main Street of bars and restaurants and 5 mins into old town. The kitchen was great with plenty of pots/ utensils. Wifi was excellent. Super clean Staff were not the friendliest bunch. More of a hotel than a hostel as it lacked a social atmosphere.
Nice place close to old town, boat and busses. Quiet during the night and clean. Good showers and breakfast was what it usually is in Uruguay (bread, jam, coffee, juice). The girls in that work there are ok, but not that friendly. I would stay again. I stayed only one night.
The place was a 2 minute walk from the historic area of Colonia. Place was spotless and although the wifi dropped briefly once or twice, when it was working it was very fast. Only complaint is maybe the breakfast could have had more alternatives to toast and croissants. Would definitely stay here again.
Great hostel in a great location. The staff was okay. The breakfast was basic. It is very clean and the beds are very comfy. The WiFi for some reason worked well on my iPod, but not on my laptop (no clue why). It's good for a night or two.
Had a good time with you in Colonia, everything was nice but I would definitly prefer it if it was possible to lock the toilet doors...
Very clean well maintained hostel with a modern look. The staff are very nice and helpful they even give you a towel which is above and beyond for a hostel. It has a nice outside area and a big kitchen area with fireplace if you want to cook an asado. The sleep quality was high, with comfortable beds, air conditioning. Location is great right in the old town. The breakfast is ok.
This hostel was nice, we only stayed one night but it was easy to find and right in the centre. The rooms were clean and beds comfy but there was not much atmosphere in the place. The common area is more like a waiting room for the reception. I would recommend for a stopover though!
Feels more like a hotel, not much atmosphere but this place makes up everywhere else. Really nice dorms, with big lockers, air con and comfy beds. Big kitchen out back and nice breakfast in the morning. Everything is centrally located in colonia cause it´s so small. Would stay here again
Amazing hostel. Located really close to the historical district of Colonia. The staff is effective and helpful. The bedrooms have air conditioners and good bedsheets. The bathrooms are also very good. The kitchen is a little messy, but you can cook a meal there. This ismprobably the best hostel in Colonia, good for a quiet night of sleep. I recommend it, and qould definetely come back.
Great hostel, hotel-like. Colonia is wonderfull too. Only downside is that wifi is not working well. Besides, when I wanted to stay one more night, the hostel charges way more than online! I could make another online reservation though (yeah, that's silly, right), but wifi was not working again. It suddenly felt like they were ripping me off, so I left without the extra night.
The hostel is good but it would be nice if the staff/ the management ask their guests to be quiet after 10-11pm because some drunk backpackers don't realise how much noise they make in the common areas.
