The room did not have any furniture at all except the beds and one chair so, this wasn't so helpful. However, the two fluffy duvets made everything so much better! Super comfortable and relaxing sleep! In the evening, you will hear the jazzy tunes coming from the restaurant downstairs and if you hurry you can get a little table and enjoy your dinner under the candlelight. Excellent location as well and very helpful and friendly staff.

Thank you for making Brugge the highlight of our trip so far, will never forget it. Had a lovely stay at your lovely hostel in lovely Brugge :) - the CDNs

On the 2nd floor, where our room was, there was no toilet & no internet. So we asked the recepcionist if we could get a new room on the 1st floor since tomorrow (We were told It was free since the other day). But he said ''I won't give you a new room because you will make my laundrin dirty two times''. !!!! I couldn't believe my ears!!! We left the place the other day disillusioned, of course. Staff friendliness=zero!

Perfect location right in the center, very friendly and warm welcome at the reception, clean modern room with views, perfect comfy beds, best relation quality-price, absolutely recommending it to everyone!

Hostel is located right in the city center - very convenient with shops and restaurant just a stone's throw away. Staff is very nice and multilingual. Bathrooms new and clean, rooms are very basic, but with comfortable beds and own sink. However a sink in the second floor bathroom would be perfect. Restaurant downstairs is recommendable as well!

Fantastic location and price, rooms are v. basic. The gap above the room doors can be problematic - you can hear every conversation and door slam (which is necessary to shut the doors properly) on your level. We didn't get much sleep here due to having obnoxious, drunk idiots as neighbours. If the owner won't fix the doors he may want to introduce a curfew to discourage others from staying up all night and disturbing other guests. Showers have a time based push button and had a mold problem.

good location! Not really a hostel though. The private rooms are nice and so is the restaurant downstairs. Only downside was that the doors don't completely cover the door post.... OOPS!

Sleepless night as very loud people staying in all rooms and gathering on the corridor to shout. The bedroom doors have a gap at the top and bottom of the door so you can hear everything that happens in the corridor. Beds and pillows very uncomfortable, shower facilities are in need of update as they are in a poor condition.

The café de passage is a great wee bar/restaurant and is well worth a visit, even if you don't stay at the hostel itself. Great food and atmosphere, with very friendly, chatty staff, although service can be slow if it's busy. If you are staying though, avoid paying for a private room unless you can get a good deal, as these are spartan and quite noisy, especially if you're on the first floor above the bar. They're adequate, but not great value. If you stick to a dorm, you'll have a great visit!

The location is excellent and the rooms were tidy. We had a very good dinner at the restaurant on the ground floor and the owner was very helpful! The only remark to make is that the hallways were rather noisy during the weekend at night, but then again it's a hostel. The price-quality rate of both the hostel and the restaurant are great!

The chap who runs the hostel is very friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers are clean, the beds are extremely comfy. The hostel is right in the middle of town. The hostel does have a sewage smell in the hallways but it is not noticeable in the rooms and you'll find this smell all over Bruges in the most random of places. There's a little breakfast and lunch cafe accros the street which does a great, cheap (continental) breakfast. You won't find a better value for money hostel in Bruges.

Likes: Nice hostel. The room was basic and clean, and the beds comfortable. The location and price was excellent considering that this was a weekend where the only other accommodation I could find was £300 per night. Dislikes: The hostel itself was not noisy, but due to a squeaky door down the hallway, I was awake every time anyone went to the loo. Tip: If you want some real Belgian fries, try Chez Vincent next to St Salvator's Church. Be sure to ask for the homemade mayonnaise.

Looking great after the refurb - really nice and modern. I booked a double for me and my partner, but was disappointed when I turned up and was told that all of the rooms are twin (separate single beds).
