Hostel de Sal is the great place!!! Staff is the nicest in the world! They know good places to eat, drink, dance, visit. Breakfast was delicious. Location is graet, close to the Castillo de Santa Barbara, beach and good restaurants and pubs. Hostel de Sal is the great place!!! Staff is the nicest in the world! Good location in old area at the bottom of the mountain. Be warned the old area is a maze! A great rooftop terrace. Free breakfast with toast, lemon cakes and coffee. Internet access. Hostel de Sal is well located for most sights in Alicante including the castle, the town, the beach and the late night bars. It is located quite far up the hill towards the castle. The roof terrace is nice - but only had 4 chairs up there - some tables etc would be nice. Rooms are basic but very clean and functional. Breakfast was simple - but included in the price. Coffee, Juice, Toast & Cake. The staff was friendly and the location was amazing. The building was very clean and looked relatively new. Very comfortable and the breakfast was nice.
