We rented a private cabina which was nice but expensive, but if we had stayed just in the dorm rooms there would have been no place to hang out. There is no lounge area, so unless you want to hang out on your bed in the dorm you have to go elsewhere outside the hostel to just chill out. Even with staying in the cabina you are confined to that area. There are plenty of other nice places to stay in Dominical/Uvita area for better cost or more worth your value.

Overall a pretty good hostel. The kitchen was a little short on things to cook in, and by the end of the day things were usually looking pretty dirty, but the cleaning staff did come daily and did a great job. Great lockers for all of your stuff, helpful and friendly staff. Location isn't the best, but it's a small town so it's fine. The beds weren't very comfortable.

Great place! Very clean and staff was friendly, with the exception of the owner. Surprisingly, I found him to be rude and unwelcoming. Kitchen was beautiful, although a little bit understocked with pots and pans. Worst was that the AC in the dorm is located directly above one of the bunk beds, meaning whoever was sleeping on that bunk would have to freeze their butt off. While I was there, the girl sleeping there covered the AC with a sheet (understandably) so we were sweating all night.
