Really cool helpful staff, good size dorms with good lockers. Great kitchen and trust system with drinks. Only thing not that good is the bathrooms, no shower curtains make them a bit messy but the drainage is good and there are plenty of towels/mats provided so it's not much of an issue. Lots of hammocks to chill out as well. Location can't be bad in jeri as its so small!

If you are backpacking and looking for a good place to sleep and to meet lots of nice people this is a VERY nice hostel... I spent 5 or 6 nights there and it was awesome... the location is very good (near the main street and 30 seconds walk to the beach), there were lot of others backpackers (and we were in the low season) and they all were very cool and nice and we spent the whole time together, did bbq and had heaps of fun ... the staff was AMAZING as well (Gaucho, Lela and Johannen)! GREAT PL

A friendly hostel with great staff. The dorms were ok and the beds were decent. Breakfast was alright. The social atmosphere here was its selling point. Its got a great social vibe. The hammocks are great. The only downfall were that for the first few nights there was no door on the room (flies/mosquitoes could fly in freely - quite annoying at night). But that was rectified. And the big dorm bathrooms shower had no hot water.

Lots of hammocks for lounging (also sell hammocks in the reception). Breakfast was good. WIFI is 1R per day and no computers avalable. Kitchen was usable but not the cleanest, lots of flies because it is outdoors. Good location, short walk to the beach.

The hostel is one of the few hostels in Jeri. The common area is spacious and there is room to lie in a hammock, sit and chill around the tables etc. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room is okay, nothing special. Did like the space in the bathroom, refreshing after visiting some hostels with very small bathrooms.

My stay there was great. I was welcomed and introduced to the staff and the other backpackers, the breakfast was really nice, there are hammocks to relax during the day when too hot for the beach, perfect location (both near the beach and the main street), the place is clean and safe, and it's definitely the place to be to meet fellow travellers! You can cook, but always clean the kitchen after because Gaucho is watching! ;-) The only minus point is that the wi-fi doesn't always work properly...

The staff is amazing! The rooms are great except for the 10 bed dorm could use some work. Try to stay in one of the other rooms if it is possible.

This is a very good place to meet people from all around the world. The best thing is that it has a very nice common area, so the guests can hang out, drink bear and relax when they're not at the beach! If I come back to Jericoacoara, I would definitely stay there again!

This was one of the most incredible experiences I have had so far while being in Brasil. I had only planned for a few days in Jeri, but as each day passed I woke up deciding that I would stay one more day. This was thanks to the amazing hostel and Gaucho´s tireless hospitality to make sure every guests time there was a memorable one. Forget the other pousadas and hostels, this is the place to be while you are in Jericoacoara!
